We investigate whether recoveries following normal recessions differ from recoveries following recessions that are associated with either banking crises or housing crises. Using a parametric panel framework that allows for a bounce-back in the level of output during the recovery, we find that normal recessions are followed by strong recoveries in advanced economies. This bounce-back is absent following recessions associated with banking crises and housing crises. Consequently, the permanent output losses of recessions associated with banking crises and housing crises are considerably larger than those of normal recessions.

The absence of a neural network algorithm model to predict the level of accuracy in terms of black-box software testing, equivalence partitions technique is a problem in this research. In this case, the algorithm used for predicting software errors by researchers is the neural network algorithm and testing the software uses the black-box method with the equivalence partitions technique. The neural network algorithm is an artificial neural system, or neural network are the physical cellular system that can acquire, store and use the knowledge gained from experience for activation using bipolar sigmoid output values which range between -1 to 1. Software testing black-box methods is a testing approach where the data comes from defined functional requirements regardless of the final program structure, and the technique used is equivalence partitions. The design prediction accuracy of this research is by determining the college application to be the software to be tested, then tested using the black-box method with the equivalence partitions technique (this test chosen because it will find software errors in several categories, including functions error or missing, interface errors, errors in data structures or external database access, performance errors, initialization errors and terminations), from the black-box test the dataset obtained. This dataset measures the accuracy of the real output and prediction output. The last step is calculating the error, RSME from the real output and prediction output. The results of this research show that the neural network algorithm was being to measure the accuracy level of software testing applied to determine the prediction of the accuracy level of black-box software testing with the equivalence partitions technique, and the average accuracy results are above 80%.

The article rethinks the empirical data of non-neutrality of money in the economy. According to modern empirical data, there is a relationship between the money supply and the real variables — real output, unemployment and relative prices. However, the understanding of the fact that the money supply is a nominal variable, which cannot be related to the real situation of the economy. These considerations raise doubts about the existence of above-mentioned dependence. Moreover, the paper proves that the changes of money supply do not affect the real variables. These arguments cause the need to rethink the empirical data of non-neutrality of money in the economy. Further analysis shows that another parameter has impact on real variables — agents ‘purchasing power of money (income). This variable changes simultaneously with the change in money supply and this variable is the one that influences the real variables. Thus, the impact of monetary policy on the economic system is only through the redistribution of income between agents. As a result, monetary policy is only a less effective fiscal policy.

Satellites solar array provides sustainable and reliable energy for satellite by changing the solar energy into electrical energy in order to ensure the normal working of the satellite. The working status of solar array is directly related to the satellites normal running in orbit. The thesis summarized the normal trend of the GEO satellites solar array output power, through comparing the real output power of a certain satellites solar array with the normal trend, and detected four abnormal phenomena of solar array output power. Then the thesis analyzed the reasons, and made related suggestions.
