Background Insecticidal mosquito vector control products are vital components of malaria control programmes. Test facilities are key in assessing the effectiveness of vector control products against local mosquito populations, in environments where they will be used. Data from these test facilities must be of a high quality to be accepted by regulatory authorities, including the WHO Prequalification Team for vector control products. In 2013–4, seven insecticide testing facilities across sub-Saharan Africa, with technical and financial support from Innovative Vector Control Consortium (IVCC), began development and implementation of quality management system compliant with the principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to improve data quality and reliability. Methods and principle findings We conducted semi-structured interviews, emails, and video-call interviews with individuals at five test facilities engaged in the IVCC-supported programme and working towards or having achieved GLP. We used framework analysis to identify and describe factors affeting progress towards GLP. We found that eight factors were instrumental in progress, and that test facilities had varying levels of control over these factors. They had high control over the training programme, project planning, and senior leadership support; medium control over infrastructure development, staff structure, and procurement; and low control over funding the availability and accessibility of relevant expertise. Collaboration with IVCC and other partners was key to overcoming the challenges associated with low and medium control factors. Conclusion For partnership and consortia models of research capacity strengthening, test facilities can use their own internal resources to address identified high-control factors. Project plans should allow additional time for interaction with external agencies to address medium-control factors, and partners with access to expertise and funding should concentrate their efforts on supporting institutions to address low-control factors. In practice, this includes planning for financial sustainability at the outset, and acting to strengthen national and regional training capacity.

Currently number of projects is lagging due poor management in execution and implementation. To overcome these factors in our project we proposed to find out the best quality management system (QMS) in the Civil Engineering industry by practicing with seven existing and new execution to actualizing quality network in private projects by utilizing Planning and statistical analysis software. By collecting questionnaire based on QMS form the existing literature review and same has been utilized for analysing and investigation in project planning management software. From the analysis we conclude that quality management system will play vital role in customer satisfaction and time consuming have the positive and critical changes in the QMS for each and every project in the construction industry in the execution level.

Kaizen as a quality management system offers a new approach to increase productivity by improving existing production processes without investing in new tools/procedures. This study aimed to determine the application of continuous improvement in construction projects according to kaizen philosophy. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis to describe the process of continuous improvement in a construction project. Data were collected using a questionnaire method on 24 building and road projects and interviews with two contractors. This study's results indicate that the application of the kaizen principle in construction projects is still limited. The research reveals that project planning has been carried out but not entirely following field conditions, standardization of work methods already exists but not detailed, all parties in the project have been involved in the construction process, but initiatives to make improvements have not been seen because it is still focused on corrective evaluation and work completion. The challenges in implementing continuous improvement are the lack of a quality management system, lack of working time, lack of consistency in the implementation of quality, and lack of worker’s skill in carrying out work. Some improvements required to support continuous improvement are to encourage top management's role in the application of quality management systems and internalization of the kaizen principle to all workers. The involvement of all production elements in maintaining product's quality in the internal system also needs to be improved.

Recently, the evolvement of globalization era has been the global challenges that cannot be avoided either by private or government sectors, and they are requested to be survived encountering such the condition. The implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) in the operational company is the way how to guarantee the quality of products or services offered to the people. One of the purposes of QMS implementation is to provide a prime satisfaction to the customers. The impact of QMS implementation is expected to increase job performance of the employees. Besides the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS), the impact of global challenges has been increasing the competitive efforts to execute more effective production process. However, it has required manpower protection accordingly. This research aims to find out whether the implementation of quality management system and safety and healthy at work management system have impacted on the job performance of employees. Objects of this research are the employees in the production department at PT Guna Senaputra Sejahtera Plant 1 Bogor. Data analysis technique of this research has applied software Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). PLS has estimated a model of correlation among the latent variables and correlation between latent variables and its indicators. Result of data processing has indicated that the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) and system of safety and healthy at work have positively and significantly impacted job performance of employees.Keywords : Quality Management System (QMS), Safety and Healthy at Work System ( SHWS / SMK3), and Job Performance of Employees

The updated edition of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard introduced significant changes to the structure, terminology, resource requirements, processes, quality management system of testing and calibration laboratories. New requirements were established for the organization of laboratory activities – a process approach and risk-based thinking, which provides for a reduction in part of the prescriptive requirements and the introduction of requirements based on the analysis of the performance of actions. In accordance with GOST ISO IEC 17025-2019, the laboratory must authorize personnel to perform specific laboratory activities, as well as guarantee their competence. This article discusses the organization of the competence management system for the personnel of the laboratories of the organizations of Transneft system using the laboratory information management system (LIMS). The model of the process implementation has been described. It has been established that the competence test system allows you to regularly monitor the skills and knowledge of laboratory workers both in terms of the elements of the Quality Management System and in the applied measurement (test) methods. The personnel responsibility matrix implemented in LIMS regulates the powers and functionality of employees, ensuring that employees are allowed to perform work in accordance with their competence. The functions implemented in LIMS made it possible to automate the management of the competence of laboratory workers in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 and other regulatory documents.
