The purpose of this research is to evaluate the Quality Management System of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC) as an ISO 9001-2015 certified state college and identify the benefits derived by the college along with its certification. Process owners, teaching and Non-Teaching personnel, and students' perceptions were validated using weighted mean and rank order statistic designs. The study revealed that they were satisfied with the customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, continual improvement, evidence-based decision-making, and systematic approach to management. As a result of the ISO certification of the college, gained a positive image to the community and raised to competitors' level or even at a higher level, increased the quality of services, and raised staff awareness were among the positive remarks of the college its stakeholders. Identify problems in good time wherein they can be quickly taken to avoid the same mistakes and achieve local, national, and international quality recognition were among the benefits derived by the college as an ISO-certified institution. Using Freidman's test, there is no significant difference in the perceived satisfaction among the three groups of respondents. Although the study shows a remarkable satisfaction rate, a proposed suggested recommendation will make the Quality Management system of the college more vibrant and value-adding.

In 2017, Polish Biobanking Network was established in Poland, within BBMRI.pl project titled “Organization of Polish Biobanking Network within the Biobanking and Biomolecular Resources Research Infrastructure BBMRI-ERIC” as a strategic scientific infrastructure concept. One of the key elements of the project was the verification of the current status of QMS in the Polish biobanking institutions and the implementation of common solutions. The main goal was to indicate the current QMS level and determine the starting points for QMS development for each biobank of the Polish Biobanking Network (PBN). Within 3 years, 35 audit visits were performed. The current status and the level of QMS implementation in each biobank were assessed. Five hundred and seventy recommendations were prepared. The data was analyzed using Fischer Exact test to determine whether or not a significant association was observed. Three areas of analysis were covered: (1) BBMRI.pl status, (2) QMS implementation level and (3) private/public party, respectively. The results were discussed within 15 areas. Concluding remarks showed that some differences were observed in the case of subgroups analysis. There is convergence in QMS within the biobanks where Tissue Banks are located. Moreover, some discrepancies between the QMS implementation level in BBMRI.pl Consortium biobanks and PBN biobanks are observed. Nevertheless, the consortium members are obliged to prepare other biobanks willing to enter the PBN as Members/Observers or which already are in the PBN, so that they can meet the requirements of the quality management system that will enable efficient management of biobanking processes in these units. That is why some actions within BBMRI.pl projects are organized to help the whole biobanking community in Poland implement the harmonized solution.

All organizations involved in creating added value can be described using business models that represent their activities in an aggregated form. The business model answers an important business question about its value and effectiveness. The relationship of the business model with the quality management system (QMS) of the organization expands its ability to create a competitive business unit. If the organization's quality management system complies with international standards (ISO), then the level of competitiveness of a given business unit can be defined as international. Integration processes taking place in socio-economic relations provide for a significant role of standards in the activities of organizations that meet world standards. By creating a chain of interconnection of business models with the QMS, it is possible to increase the international and global level of sustainability of business units, as well as the territories in which they are located. The consequence of these processes is the increase in the efficiency of the implementation of development strategies and the reduction of risks caused by the loss of economic security.

This study is investigating the reality of resistance to change in the light of Quality Management System (QMS) implementation in the Ministry of Education (South Batinah Directorate as a model of the study). It tries to answer some questions related to the main factors that lead to resistance to change with correlations of gender, years of experience and educational level. The method of collecting data of this study was conducting quantitatively through an electronic questionnaire including 59 participants of directors in different administrative level. The data has been analyzed statistically through SPSS. The result shows that the performance of the employees was impacted through the lack of awareness of the QMS requirements. Although, the all four factors recorded close level of resistance, the cognitive rigidity factor recorded the highest factor that lead to resistance to change. The study results can be generalized to other directorates in the Ministry of Education because the similar work environment. This study can be used to make some very crucial amendments in the future in managing QMS in the organization.

Many business leaders believe that a comprehensive risk management system provides an essential foundation for maintaining competitive advantages. Moreover, the company is today in the need to set up this device since its environment is unstable and it is constantly changing. In the current circumstances of the virulent pandemic COVID-19, risk management is gaining importance. The majority of Moroccan companies, especially SMEs, are still in an embryonic stage with regard to the practice of risk management. It should be noted that certain SMEs have set up, in particular in the food industry, a food risk management system since this is of a regulatory nature. The results of empirical research have shown that the implementation of a quality management system or an integrated quality and food safety system in the companies promotes risk management. The risk approach is a transversal approach that allows companies to improve their operation and be resilient.

There are thousands of results produced by the environmental testing laboratory for the air, water and soil parameters. The results produced by the environmental testing laboratories are always basis of the policy decision on various occasions. The results produced by the environmental testing laboratory provide the basis for the water whether it is fit for drinking purposes or not. The soil of a particular area is fit for specific agriculture or not. Similarly, the air of a specific location is under the permissible limit of the required component or not. Over some time the environmental testing laboratories are increasing in our county and these laboratories can be segregated broadly into two categories namely accredited laboratories and non-accredited laboratories. The accreditation is done by the independent authoritative body as per the international standard ISO/IEC 17025. It is believed that the accredited laboratory has a quality management system and proven technical competence to perform a specific type of testing. This work presents the comparative studies of the physico-chemical results of air, water and soil samples tested by accredited and non-accredited laboratories. In case of soil, the pH and sulfate is tested by the accredited and non-accredited laboratories in the specific environment. Similarly, construction water and drinking water are tested for various parameters as per the relevant standard. The air samples were collected from the same site and analysis was done for the various parameters like PM2.5, PM10 and other toxic gases present in air. It is observed that there is a considerable difference between the results produced by the accredited and non-accredited laboratories. It is believed that the results produced by the accredited laboratory are more reliable in comparison to the non-accredited laboratory.
