This study intends to examine the differences in market reaction around the announcement of the Annual Report Award which is not only measured by abnormal return but is also measured using trading volume activity and stock prices. The data used are quantitative data in the form of a list of companies that received the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period, the daily closing price of the ARA-winning company in the event window, the composite stock price index, the number of shares traded, and the number of shares outstanding. The event window is selected for 11 days because the long window period will blend with the effects of other events or confounding effects. The results of the study concluded that the market reacted around the announcement of the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period measured using abnormal returns, trading volume activity, and stock prices. There is no difference in abnormal returns before and after the announcement of the 2013-2016 Annual Report Award period. Instead there are differences in trading volume activity and stock prices before and after the announcement of the Annual Report Award for the 2015-2018 period.

Capital markets are relevantly influenced by political event. This research aimed to analyze the market reaction on the announcement of cabinet of Indonesia Maju on October, 23 2019. Market reaction is measured by abnormal return and trading volume activity. This study used 44 companies from LQ45 group’s stock prices as population and used event study method to identify market reaction. The window event is 11 day long (t-5 – t+5). The statistical test used to test the hypotheses is simple t-test and paired sample test. The result of the statistical calculation of simple t-test showed there are no significant abnormal return around the date of the event. It means that investors do not respond to the event of newly cabinet announcement. The result of paired sample t-test showed there are no significant difference between the average abnormal return and trading volume activity obtained by sample companies listed in LQ45 index before and after the announcement of cabinet of Indonesia Maju.

Stock splits or stock split is to break a piece of stock into n shares so that the new price per share after the stock split is 1 / n of the previous price.This study aims to investigate the market reaction to the announcement of the stock split the company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2012-2013. The market reaction is indicated by the presence or absence of abnormal return differences, trading volume activity, and bid-ask spreads before and after the stock split announcement.Type of research is a study of events (event study).The study sample as many as 17 companies based on purposive sampling.Testing is done with a period of 5 days before and 5 after the announcement of the stock split.The technique of data analysis performed using paired sample t-test on abnormal returns while Wilcoxon signed ranks test on trading volume activity and bid-ask spreads.

This research is titled “Analysis of Trading volume activity and Average Abnormal Return beforeand after the stock split pada companies listed on the bursa efek indonesia” . this researchaims to analysing is there any differences between the abnormal return and the trading volumeactivity before and after the stock split. The data that have been used in this research are thedaily stock price and the IHSG of the companies who did the stock split in 2011 till 2015.Bythe purposive sampling methods, there is 32 companies who did the stock split that listed onthe bursa efek indonesia. Analysis technique that has been used is Uji normalitas dan uji bedadua sampel berhubungan uji wilcoxon with the event window is 5 days before and 5 days afterthe stock split.The result of this research is show that there is 0,024 < 0,05 significant valuefrom the Pengujian Uji Beda between trading volume activity before and trading volume activityafter stock split. Based on that fact, there is 0,033 < 0,05 significant value from pengujian ujibeda between abnormal return before and bid-ask spread after the stock split. Thus can beinterpreted that there is a difference between abnormal return before and after stock split. Sothat the Indonesia Capital market is yet efficient and yet strong enough by the stock split.Keywords: Stock split, Abnormal Return, Trading volume activity.

<p>Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji reaksi pasar yang diukur dengan variabel abnormal return dan trading volume activity (TVA) di sekitar pengumuman dividen (dividend announcement). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pengumuman dividen dari perusahaan yang sahamnya masuk pada daftar efek syariah (DES) Indonesia pada tahun 2013, yang berjumlah 40. Sampel penelitian diambil dari semua jumlah populasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji One Sample t-test untuk menguji reaksi pasar yang terjadi selama periode pengamatan (event window) 21 hari yaitu t-10 (10 hari sebelum pengumuman dividen), t0 (saat pengumuman dividen), dan t+10 (10 hari sesudah pengumuman dividen). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat reaksi pasar di sekitar hari pengumuman dividen yang diukur menggunakan variabel abnormal return dan trading volume activity (TVA).</p><p> </p><p>The purpose of this study was to test the market reaction which was measured by abnormal return variable and trading volume activity (TVA) around the dividend announcement. The population of this study was all companies’s dividend<br />announcement which their shares were listed on Indonesia Syariah Securities List published in 2013, they were 40 companies. The samples were taken from all population. The data were analyzed by one sample t-test to test the market reactions which occurred during event window for 21 days; they were t-10 (10 days before the dividend announcement), t0 (at the dividend announcement time), and t+10 (10 days after the dividend announcement). Based on the research results, it can be seen that there was a market reaction around the dividend announcement which was measured by abnormal returns variable and trading volume activity (TVA).</p>

<p><span class="fontstyle0">The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in the market reaction, as measured by abnormal returns and trading volume activity in the period before and after the announcement of the increase in the BI Rate. This study uses event study research design, observation period were 10 days before and 10 days after the event. The populations in this study were all members of LQ45 companies. The study sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The method of data collection is the documentation. The variables of this study are the abnormal return and trading volume activity. The analysis used in this study is different test paired sample t-test. Based on the research results, the stock market reaction test showed no significant difference between the average abnormal return before and after the announcement of the increase in the BI Rate. While testing the reaction by using the average trading volume activity indicators showed a significant difference between the periods before and after the announcement of the increase in the BI Rate.</span></p>

This research aims to see market reaction over the increasing and declining dividend announcement. The objective in this research is to test whether the stock price reacts positively to the increasing dividend announcement and reacts negatively to the declining dividend announcement are shown by the significant abnormal return (AR) value in around the announcement date and by the significant difference of abnormal trading volume activity (ATVA) before and after the announcement. The results indicate that market does not react over increasing as well as decreasing dividend announcement. This indicates that the event of dividend changes announcement are not reacted by market.

The purpose of this research is to analize market reaction to the 1st, 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th economic policy packages. This research uses event study approach. Its measurement of market reaction would be seen from the difference of Abnormal Return and Trading Volume Activity before and after the events. Sample of this research was selected through purposive sampling techniques which include 12 firms. The data analysis used paired sample of t-test. These results indicated that there is no difference in abnormal returns before and after 1st, 5th, 7th and 13th economic policy packages announcement. There is a difference in abnormal returns before and after 11th economic policy packages announcement. There is no difference in trading volume activity before and after 1st, 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th economic policy packages announcement. Market reacts fast and protracted to the event which indicate that market is not efficient in semi strong-form.

The purpose of this study is to determine the market reaction to the announcement of cash dividends, by looking at differences in abnormal return and trading volume activity before and after the cash dividend announcement. Dividend announcement is an event that affects the market, because the company provides information to the public. Information provided by the company will influence investors' decision making and will act on that information. The sample of this study amounted to 33 of the 100 companies incorporated in the Kompas 100 index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data collection method uses non-participant observation, which is document observation. The analysis technique used is Paired-Sample T Test and Wilcoxon-Signed Rank Test. The results showed that there were no differences in abnormal returns and trading volume activity before and after the distribution of cash dividends. This study aims to analyze reaction of the Indonesian capital market about difference of average abnormal returns, trading volume activity, and security return variability between before and after the legalization of the Job Creation Act on October 5, 2020. This study used quantitative research with event study approach. The research sample is stocks registered in LQ45 with certain criteria determined used the purposing sampling method. Hypothesis testing used paired sample t-test and wilcoxon signed rank test. The results of the hypothesis testing show that: (1) There’s a significant difference in the average abnormal return between the period before and after the Job Creation Act legalization. (2) There’s no significant difference in the average trading volume activity between the periodsbefore and after the Job Creation Act legalization. <p class="Bodytext20">Stock split announcement is one of information type published by emitent that is used to know market reaction. When stock split announcement contains information, the market reacts that is shown by the changing of stock price. This study is intended to describe the effect of stock split announcement to market reaction using event study. This approach is used to identify the reaction of the market which is an activity of trading volume and bid-ask spread of stock used to know stock liquidity. The findings show that there is no significant difference between stock trading volume activity before, during and after stock split announcement. Whereas, the period of before and after the announcement, there is a significant difference of stock trading volume activity. The finding of bid-ask spread stock shows that there is a significant difference in the period of before and after stock split announcement. But there is no significant difference in the period of before and after stock split announcement.</p><p class="Bodytext20"> </p><p class="Bodytext20">Pengumuman pemecahan saham adalah salah satu jenis informasi yang diterbitkan oleh emiten yang digunakan untuk mengetahui reaksi pasar. Bila pengumuman pemecahan saham berisi informasi, pasar bereaksi yang ditunjukkan oleh perubahan harga saham. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efek pengumuman pemecahan saham terhadap reaksi pasar dengan menggunakan kajian peristiwa. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi reaksi pasar yang merupakan aktivitas volume perdagangan dan pemecahan saham yang digunakan untuk mengetahui likuiditas saham. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara aktivitas volume perdagangan saham sebelum, selama dan setelah pengumuman pemecahan saham. Padahal, periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman, ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari aktivitas volume perdagangan saham. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman pemecahan saham. Namun tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada periode sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman pemecahan saham.</p>
