Adult Ureteroceles are uncommon, majority of which are asymptomatic and commonly found incidentally. Surgical deroofing is indicated in patients with bothersome symptoms or complications secondary to ureteroceles. Several deroofing techniques has been described in the literature including nephroscopic scissors, collin's knife, and use of lasers in the last two decades became popular.  Herein we report a case and demonstare our technique of using Holmium laser to treat an adult with symptomatic obstructive unilateral ureterocele.

Purpose To report a case of bilateral iatrogenic pigmentary glaucoma secondary to cosmetic iris-lightening laser treatment. Case report A 39-year-old patient presented with bilateral iatrogenic pigmentary glaucoma. She had elevated intraocular pressures (IOPs), scattered iris pitting, and intense angle pigmentation secondary to the cosmetic laser treatment she underwent 4 weeks prior to presentation. Her IOPs were refractory to maximal medical treatment and she subsequently underwent trabeculectomy. Conclusion The true scale of complications related to cosmetic laser treatments is as yet unknown. Robust clinical investigations into its safety profile, including long-term data, are required. Prospective patients should consider this with great care. Clinicians should be aware of the potential risks of this procedure, as early recognition of cosmetic laser-induced pigmentary glaucoma may avert further sequelae.

Background. The first double-J (DJ) stents were manufactured in 1978. Their J-shaped tips efficiently prevent their migration from kidneys and from the urinary bladder. Nowadays, DJ stents are in common use because they provide efficient and relatively safe urinary derivation between the kidney and the urinary bladder. We report this case with the aim to point out possible serious complications with long-term indwelling stents. Case report. The patient was admitted to hospital five years after the placement of DJ in a bad general condition, with symptoms of peritonitis. Radiological examination (plain abdominal film, computerized tomography, excretory urogram and cystography) showed bulky calculosis at each tip of the stent, affunctional right kidney, vesicoureteral reflux through the DJ stent and ureter all the way to the right kidney, as well as a large amount of turbid liquid in the abdomen. In the course of the operation, the bulky stone with the DJ stent was removed form the urinary bladder, followed by a large amount of turbid liquid extracted from the abdomen. During adhesiolysis, a small intraperitoneal perforation through which a tip of the stent prolapsed, was found on the upper pole of the kidney. After that, nefrectomy was performed. The patient was discharged 18 days after the surgery. Conclusion. There are usually no complications with shortterm DJ stent urinary drainage. However, indwelling DJ stents can cause serious complications, such as migration, incrustration and fragmentation. DJ indwelling should be as short as possible. If indwelling stenting is necessary, the DJ stent should be replaced with a new one in due time, or another kind of derivation should be performed. Careful monitoring of patients could exclude any possibility of a stent being forgotten at all.

Duane retraction syndrome is the most frequently seen restrictive ocular motility disorders. It is clinically presented with limitation of horizontal movement, variable amounts of upshoots or downshoots and globe retraction combined with narrowing of the palpebral aperture on attempted adduction. An 8-year-old patient presented with severe restriction of abduction, reciprocal upshots or downshoots, and globe retraction combined with the palpebral fissure narrowing of on adduction. After the modified Y splitting of LR and recession of both horizontal rectus operation, all cosmetically disfiguring clinical features disappeared. In this case report modified Y splitting procedure and its long-term efficacy is presented.
