University efficiency is one of the scientific measurement methods for evaluating the effectiveness and use of educational resources available explicitly to the productivity of research publications. This study aims to determine the university's efficiency, between the number of researchers /authors owned by the university and the amount of Scientific Strength (publications and citations) produced by universities in Indonesia with the data envelopment analysis. The universities in this study are nine universities in the top 1000 Qs world universities in 2020. This research method consists of problem identification, data collection, data processing, results, and discussion. The research data obtained from Scopus.com metadata in publication and citation data and the year limited from 2017-2019. While the data of active university researchers/authors obtained from the Higher Education Science and Technology Index and actual student data obtained from PDDikti data. Data were analyzed using the bibliometric approach (scientific strength) and the data envelopment analysis approach. This study analyzed 41869 Indonesian scientific works indexed by Scopus with a bibliometric approach (scientific strength) and data envelopment analysis. This study indicatesthat the highest efficiency values are the University of Indonesia and Diponegoro University with an efficiency value of 1,000 while the lowest efficiency value is IPB University with an efficiency value of 0.060.

The objective of this research is to understand cooperation performance using integration of Balanced Scorecard and Data Envelopment Analysis an to analyze the eficiency and efectivity level by utilizing Data Envelopment Analysis based on criteria in Balanced Scorecard. The sampling determination method used non probability sampling. The research data were collected from Cooperation Agency in Jombang Regency. The data analysis instrument was performance assesment using Balanced Scorecard Perpective based on financial perspective, customer, internal bisnis, learning and growth, and also eficiency calculation using DEA output oriented model. The result of this research concludes : from financial perspective is has been there was performance improvement in 2014 and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from customer perspective it has been discovered that there was performance decline in 2014 and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from internal bisnis perspective, it has been detected that there was performance improvement in the last year and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from learning and growth perspective, it that only one Cooperation was able to reach maximum eficiency. Keywords: Performance, DEA, BSC, Efficiency

Data envelopment analysis is used to calculate technical, allocative, economic, and scale efficiencies for fields enrolled in the University of Arkansas Rice Research Verification Program. The results reveal most fields have high technical and scale efficiencies, implying inputs are used in minimum levels necessary to achieve given output levels and fields are close to optimal in size. However, most fields exhibit allocative and economic inefficiencies and do not use inputs in the right combinations necessary to achieve cost minimization. Tobit analysis indicated allocative and economic efficiencies could be improved with better variety selection and better irrigation management.

There have been very active and significant studies done in the area of university technologies transfer (UTT). One interested topic among them is to measure performance of the UTT. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) has been regarded as a proper approach to measure the university technology transfer efficiency (UTTE). However, current studies stay in identifying efficient and inefficient universities and related output or input variables which could contribute to improve their efficiencies. This study is intended to understand further how the universities recognized efficient are different and the changes of their performance over years. For this purpose, this study proposes a new approach, the efficiency pattern diagram, to identify changing patterns of the technology transfer of 17 efficient universities out of 51 US universities from 2001 to 2004. Five efficiency patterns are identified by this study: "newly emerging", "strengthening", "strong", "weakening", and "declining". The properties of each pattern and limitations of the approach are discussed with verification of the pattern by extending them to 2005.

The efficiency of the regional bank (BPD) that are described by the ratio Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) during 2013 to 2015 always experinece increased efficiency which shows that BPD has decreased year 2013 to 2015. In addition to the expansion of areas of operation conducted by the BPD surely bring consequences on the efficiency of BPD itself. This research aims to analyze the efficiency of BPD and non-eexpansion either individually or as a whole as well as to determine the magnitude of the variable input-output which should be improved or demoted BPD in order to increase the level of efficiency at the level of maximum or 100 percent. The method of research used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This research data are secondary data and proceeds from Bank Indonesia, the finansial services authority, the Central Bureau of statistics and financial statements each year 2013 – 2015 BPD. The results of this study indicate the level of technical efficiency on average reached 99.90 percent expansion BPD while the performance level of technical efficiency of the average BPD non-expansion reached 99.17 percent
