Abstract:By means of Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and Lyapunov function, some simple sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and stability of a unique positive almost periodic solution of a delayed Lotka–Volterra recurrent neural networks. To a certain extent, the work in this paper corrects the defect of a recent paper. Finally, an example and simulations are given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the main result.

AbstractBy using some new analytical techniques, modified inequalities and Mawhin’s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the boundedness of the solution and the existence of at least one positive almost periodic solution of a kind of two-species model of facultative mutualism with time delays. Further, the global asymptotic stability of the positive almost periodic solution of this model is also considered. Some examples and numerical simulations are also given to illustrate the main results of this paper.

By using some analytical techniques, modified inequalities and Mawhin's continuous theorem of coincidence degree theory, some simple sufficient conditions for the existence of at least one positive almost periodic solution of a generalized Mackey–Glass model of respiratory dynamics are obtained. Further, the global attractivity of positive almost periodic solution of the above model is also studied. To the best of the author's knowledge, so far, the result of this paper is completely new. Finally, three examples are given to illustrate the main results in this paper.

By using coincidence degree theory as well as a priori estimates and Lyapunov functional, we study the existence and global stability of periodic solution for discrete delayed high-order Hopfield-type neural networks. We obtain some easily verifiable sufficient conditions to ensure that there exists a unique periodic solution, and all theirs solutions converge to such a periodic solution.

Sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and global exponential stability of a unique periodic solution of a class of impulsive tow-neuron networks with variable and unbounded delays. The approaches are based on Mawhin's continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and Lyapunov functions.

We investigate a class of memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays. By applying a new Lyapunov function method, we prove that the neural network which has a unique almost periodic solution is globally exponentially stable. Moreover, the theoretical findings of this paper on the almost periodic solution are applied to prove the existence and stability of periodic solution for memristor-based shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with leakage delays and periodic coefficients. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results. The results obtained in this paper are completely new and complement the previously known studies of Wu (2011) and Chen and Cao (2002).

A class of BAM neural networks with variable coefficients and neutral delays are investigated. By employing fixed-point theorem, the exponential dichotomy, and differential inequality techniques, we obtain some sufficient conditions to insure the existence and globally exponential stability of almost periodic solution. This is the first time to investigate the almost periodic solution of the BAM neutral neural network and the results of this paper are new, and they extend previously known results.

This paper presents some sufficient conditions for the existence and global exponential stability of the almost periodic solution for impulsive bi-directional associative memory neural networks with time-varying delays by using Lyapunov functional and Gronwall-Bellmans inequality technique. Comparing with known literatures, the results of this paper are new and they complement previously known results.
