Minimum dominating set (MinDS) is a canonical NP-hard combinatorial optimization problem with applications. For large and hard instances one must resort to heuristic approaches to obtain good solutions within reasonable time. This paper develops an efficient local search algorithm for MinDS, which has two main ideas. The first one is a novel local search framework, while the second is a construction procedure with inference rules. Our algorithm named FastDS is evaluated on 4 standard benchmarks and 3 massive graphs benchmarks. FastDS obtains the best performance for almost all benchmarks, and obtains better solutions than state-of-the-art algorithms on massive graphs.

Based on the energy method and beam-element theory, the nonlinear strain are considered, non-stress length and non-stress curvature of element of geometry control method are introducted in the integration process of stain energy. The static equilibrium equation of the geometry control method is established. Take the impacts of structural geometric profile induced by temporary loads and temperature field during the construction procedure are investigated, the correctness of the geometry control method is verified by the numerical simulation analysis.

Multiple urban projects constructed at same time block many roads, which increases the difficulty for traffic organization. Considering the characteristics of multiple projects, took construction method, construction procedure, land development, traffic environment and traffic flow into account, this paper proposes a workflow for traffic organization, recommends building temporary road and reconstructing branch road to undertake all the traffic from blocked roads. Selecting Jiangcheng Avenue complex project as a case, four methods were put forward for keeping traffic uninterrupted during construction with different temporary road route designs and traffic management measures.

Difficulties of tunnel construction mainly appear in the entrance and exit stage, some adverse geological problems may occur. In terms of the tunnel at the Changsha-Kunming section of the Shanghai-Kunming passenger line, firstly, adverse geological phenomena at tunnel exits was described. Secondly, major factors leading to disasters were listed, including geology, hydrology and construction procedure. Combined with in-situ conditions, Finite Element Method (FEM) was used to analyze the instability mechanism of surrounding rock after the upper arch gate was excavated by three-bench seven-step exaction method. At last, through comparison between computed result and measuring data, several basic conclusions was obtained. It can make much sense to similar engineering.
