The new species, Bruchophagus ayadi sp.n., is reared from seed pods of Melilotus officinalis (L.) Desr. (Fabaceae) in Iran (Lorestan). The new species is close to B. platypterus (Walk.), but differs by roundish abdomen and very gibbous, almost globular (in lateral view) mesosoma. These species can be also differentiated by some biological features. The host plant of B. platypterus is Lotus corniculatus L., whereas the new species is reared from Melilotus officinalis (L.) Desr. Holotype of Bruchophagus ayadi sp.n. is deposited in the collection of I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

Data on a genus of the Daffodils have been given in the article. The areas of species have been designated. Dates of selection work for the Daffodils have been determined. Countries and number of plant breeders of the Daffodils have been presented. The first cultivar of the Daffodil with pink crown has been specified, too.Group accessory for the 55 Daffodils from the collection of the Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus has been defined. The age and authorship of the studied cultivars have been established. Assessment of their biological features in the conditions of the Central area of Belarus has been carried out. Periods and duration of some phenological phases have been established. Height of plants and sizes of flowers have been estimated. Periods of the Daffodils with a pink crown blossoming have been established. The abundance of blossoming depends on cultivar’s features and duration of their cultivation without grafting. The flowers of Daffodils with a pink crown have been measured from 6.5 to 11.5 cm. For the long-cupped Daffodils sizes and forms of crowns are various. The multiplication factor during the three years cultivation fluctuates from 5 to 16 units. Grades are rather steady in local conditions against diseases and pests. From studied cultivars the 13 best ones have been recommended for cultivation.

Abstract The article presents the results of the investigation of material on the genus Centrorhynchus Lühe, 1911 stored in the collection of the Department of Parasitology, Schmalhauzen Institute of Zoology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Five species: Centrorhynchus aluconis, C. globocaudatus, C. spinosus, C. conspectus and C. polissiensis sp. n. were studied and described. Centrorhynchus polissiensis sp. n., differs from all known species by the complex morphological characters, in particular, by the formula of proboscis hooks in combination with the number of large hooks with roots, by the number of hooks in anterior part of the proboscis, and by comparatively smaller eggs. C. polissiensis sp. n. is most similar to C. aluconis, C. conspectus and C. globocaudatus. The main differences between the species are in the proboscis armament, 13–17 hooks in a longitudinal row in C. aluconis, 16–18 hooks in C. conspectus vs 19–20 hooks in C. polissiensis sp. n., and in the egg sizes, 56–65 × 28–30 for C. aluconis, 68–72 × 33–35 for C. conspectus vs 45–55 × 25 for C. polissiensis sp. n. C. polissiensis sp. n. differs from C. globocaudatus in shape and morphology of the proboscis hooks. We do not confirm the record of C. amphibius from birds of the territory of Ukraine. The data on synonymy, hosts and distribution in Ukraine and in the world are given for seven species of the genus recorded in Ukraine. Illustrated descriptions about the material of collection are presented for five species. We provide an identification key for nine species of the genus Centrorhynchus of the birds of the fauna of Ukraine and adjacent territories.

The parasitic chalcid wasp Eurytoma coleopterae Zerova, 1978 (Hymenoptera: Eurytomidae) is re-described and illustrated. For the first time parasitoid E. coleopterae is reared from the larvae of weevil Metapion sp. (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), developing in seeds of Ruta sp. (Rutaceae) in Turkey. Also for the first time chalcid wasp E. coleopterae was reared from larvae of jewel beetle Meliboeus cyaneus Kiasw. (Coleoptera: Buprestidae), developing in stems of Cousinia polycephala Rupr. (Asteraceae) in Turkmenistan. Re-description of type material, a new data on the distribution, biology, host–parasitoid and host–plant trophical associations are given. Material is deposited at the collection of I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine).

A Review of Palearctic Species of the Genus Pseuderimerus (Hymenoptera, Torymidae) with a Description of One New Species From Iran The Genus Pseuderimerus includes 9 species in the World fauna, six of them are Palaearctic. Pseuderimerus irani Zerova et Seryogina, sp. n. is described. A key to all palaearctic species is given. The holotype and paratypes of the new species are deposited in the collection of the Institute of Zoology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

Abstract Systole irana sp. n. and S. dzintari sp. n. are described from Iran. Systole complanata Zerova is recorded from Iran for the first time. These three Systole species belong to the subgenus Systole (Systole). The species of this subgenus have trophic associations with plants of family Apiaceae. An identification key to species of Systole from Iran is given. Holotype and paratypes of new species are deposited in the collection of I. I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).

Abstract The work presents the results of herbarium survey that resulted in finding Botrychium simplex E. Hitchc. – a new for the native Ukrainian flora species of the family Ophioglossaceae. A specimen of this taxon was found in the National Herbarium of Ukraine in the M. G. Kholodny Institute of Botany of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv (KW) among the specimens of Botrychium lunaria (L.) Sw. originating from the surroundings of Kharkiv. Thus, this finding indicates the most south-eastern locality of B. simplex in Europe found so far.

The species Exeurytoma anatolica Сam (Hymenoptera, Chalcidoidea, Eurytomidae), formerly known only from Turkey, was reared from seeds of Astragalus angustiflorus (C.Koch) (Fabaceae) in Iran for the first time. It is a firstly record of A. angustiflorus as a new host plant for Ex. anatolica. The species Ex. anatolica and Ex. сaraganae are phytophagous and develop in seeds of legume plants (Fabaceae). Redescription of Ex. anatolica is provided. Identification key to species of Exeurytoma is given. The species Ex. anatolica is differentiated by the ovipositor’s length which is about 1/3 as long as gaster and the length of first funicular segment which is in 1,2 times longer than pedicel. Material is deposited in the collection of I.I. Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv).
