According to UNCLOS, Indonesian marine territorial covers an area equal to around 2.8 million square kilometers inner archipelagic seas. Though the Indonesian water region is very wide, the resource within it is not yet been exploited optimally. Indonesia still has problems that have to be copped with, including identification of marine fishing ground areas. This report proposes a technology to make the fish-catching be more efficient and effective with the help of MODIS satellite image in term of Surface Temperature and chlorophyll-a computation. Data conversion from digital number to Water Brightness Temperature are performed. The determination of potential fishing ground area were conducted based on temperature and chlorophyll-a parameters which serve as an indicator of upwelling and observations were carried out on parameters which show this phenomenon. Based on the result, during May 2004 the upwelling process were not happened yet, and it seems to occur in June 2004. It showes by the decreasing of water temperature in South Coast of West Java particularly between the border of West Java and Central of Java. This phenomenon acts as an indicator for the raising of primer productivity and will takes about one month after upwelling to the bloom of phytoplankton.

<em>Permeability is one of the important of reservoir characteristics, but is difficult to predict it. The accurate permeability values can be obtained from core data analysis, but it is not possible to do at all of the well intervals in the field. This study used 191 sandstone core samples from the Upper Cibulakan Formation in the North West Java Basin. The concept of HFU (Hydraulic Flow Unit) developed by Kozeny-Carman is used to generate the relationship between porosity and permeability for each rock type. Afterward, to estimate the permeability value at uncored intervals, the statistical methods of artificial neural network based on log data are used on G-19 Well, G Field which is located in the North West Java Basin. Based on core data analysis from this research, the reservoir consists of eight HFU with different equations to estimate permeability for each HFU. From this reserarch, the results of permeability calculations at uncored intervals are not much different from the core data at the same depth. Therefore the approach of permeability prediction can be used to determine the value of permeability without performing core data analysis so that it can save the company expenses.</em>

AbstrakStadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api sebagai kasus studi merupakan stadion terbesar di Kota Bandung yang dirancang berstandar internasional dan diklaim menjadi stadion termegah se-Indonesia. Stadion yang mampu menampung 72.000 orang ini adalah salah satu potensi yang luar biasa bagi Bandung. Menjadi stadion terbesar di Jawa Barat, signage memiliki peranan penting agar memudahkan pengunjung untuk menuju ke lokasi yang akan dituju dengan cepat dan tepat. Beberapa area pada Stadion Bandung Lautan Api belum memiliki signage yang informatif, selain itu desain signage juga belum menunjukan konsistensi dan ciri khas dari stadion. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Adapun analisis data menggunakan matriks perbandingan. Hasil akhir berupa perancangan signage Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api yang informatif dan menunjukkan identitas bangunan stadion maupun identitas Kota Bandung. Perancangan ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengunjung Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api menemukan informasi atau arah sehingga mudah menuju tempat yang mereka inginkan dengan cepat dan tepat selama berada di dalam dan luar stadion. Kata Kunci: identitas visual, signage, Stadion Gelora Bandung Lautan Api AbstractGelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium as a case study is the largest stadium in Bandung designed internationally and claimed to be the grandest stadium in Indonesia. The stadium that can accommodate 72,000 people is one of the tremendous potential for Bandung. Being the largest stadium in West Java, signage has an important role to facilitate visitors to get to the location to be addressed quickly and precisely. Some areas at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium have no informative signage, moreover the signage design has not shown the consistency and characteristic of the stadium. The data collection used are observation, interview, questionnaire and literature study. The data analysis used comparison matrix. The result of the design of signage Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium that informative and show the identity of the building and Bandung identity.
