OCB ordinarily alludes to practices that decidedly affect the association or its individuals (Poncheri, 2006). OCB can be influenced by imparting in workers an impression of skill in their activity undertakings (Todd, 2003). Bateman and Organ (1983) proposed a noteworthy and solid connection between organizational citizenship conduct and job satisfaction. Bateman and Organ (1983) proposed a critical and strong association between organizational citizenship and occupation fulfillment. Employment fulfillment has been found to have a positive association with work execution and organizational citizenship. The purpose of the present examination was to research if CWB could be gone with moderately high work fulfillment. The present study is undertaken to study if there is a significant moderating effect of CWB on the relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour. CWB is prejudicious to the organization or to co-workers. The Organizations ought to enhance the spontaneous organizational citizenship behaviors of workers to extend satisfaction and, hence, to extend the competitiveness within the organization. The survey results disclosed that job satisfaction encompasses an important positive impact on organizational citizenship behaviour which counterwork productive behaviour encompasses a important negative dampening impact on the link between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behaviours. The organizations will improve the work satisfaction of their workers by rising perceived operating satisfaction, social satisfaction, and remunerative satisfaction, which might then improve the organizational citizenship behaviours and reduce the negative impact of counterwork productive behaviour.

Because nurses deliver care to patients on behalf of hospitals, hospitals should enhance the spontaneous organizational citizenship behaviors of front-line nurses to increase patient satisfaction and, hence, to increase the competitiveness of the hospital. However, a major gap in the literature is the lack of evidence-based studies of the correlations among job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behaviors in nursing personnel. Therefore, this study performed a cross-sectional survey of nurses in 1 large hospital in Taiwan; out of 400 questionnaires distributed, 386 valid questionnaires were collected, which was a valid response rate of 96.50%. The survey results revealed that organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on organizational citizenship behaviors (γ11 = 0.57, p < .01) and that job satisfaction has a significant positive moderating effect on the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behaviors (Δχ2 = 26.397, p < .01). Therefore, hospitals can improve the job satisfaction of their nursing staff by improving perceived working satisfaction, interpersonal satisfaction, and remunerative satisfaction, which would then improve organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behaviors.

This study tries to examine the influence of work-to-family conflict and job satisfaction on the relationship between supervisor support and the psychological wellbeing of 290 administrative workers at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. The results of the parallel mediation analysis showed that supervisor support had a significant positive impact on employees&rsquo; psychological wellbeing and job satisfaction and also had a significant negative impact on employees&rsquo; work-to-family conflict. Moreover, the study found a direct positive effect of employees&rsquo; job satisfaction on their psychological wellbeing but did not find a direct negative effect of employees&rsquo; work-to-family conflict on their psychological wellbeing. In addition, job satisfaction mediated the association between supervisor support and the psychological wellbeing of employees. The study however found no evidence of the mediating influence of work-to-family conflict on the relationship between supervisor support and employees&rsquo; psychological wellbeing. Both theoretical and practical implications were further discussed.

This study examined the relationship between safety climate and organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB). It involved a comparative analysis between workers active in citizenship behaviors and their colleagues who were passive or inactive regarding OCBs. Additional analyses also compared job satisfaction, compliance with safe work policies, and accident frequency between the two groups. T-tests were used in these comparative analyses. A positive association was found between safety perception and OCBs: workers who actively engaged in citizenship behaviors had positive perceptions of safety in their workplaces, and vice versa. Additionally, the group active in OCBs expressed more job satisfaction, were more compliant with safety management policies, and subsequently had a relatively lower accident involvement rate. The implications of these findings in the work environment are discussed.

This study examined the interaction between organizational culture, organizational citizenship behaviours and job satisfaction. While organizational culture plays an important role in affecting performance indirectly, other variables mediate and moderate the relationship. This study was based on a sample of 127 Egyptian participants undertaking an MBA course. Results showed positive significant correlations between four types of organizational culture, job satisfaction and citizenship behaviour individually. Job satisfaction mediated the relationship between culture and citizenship behaviour. However, the mediation effect was weak. Further discussion, implications and research limitations are discussed.

Turnover intention is becoming a critical issue in most organization. Employees’ are leaving their job due to an alternative job offer with an attractive salary and employment benefits, supportive supervisors and a better work environment. The study examines the relationship between job satisfaction on employee turnover intention as well as the mediating effect of person-organization (P-O) fit among insurance agents in Malaysia. The study adopts a quantitative research methodology by surveying 184 insurance agents in Sabah, Malaysia in 2019. Four hypotheses were tested with validated measures of job satisfaction (pay, supervision and communication), turnover intention and person-organization fit. The study revealed that job satisfaction (pay and supervision) has a significant and negative impact to turnover intention. In addition, job satisfaction (communication in organization) has a significant and positive impact to turnover intention. However, person-organization fit found to be not significantly mediates the relationship. The study suggested that organizations should acknowledge the importance of pay, supervision and communication in organization to improving employees’ motivation and retention in organization. The three elements of job satisfaction could improve and promote harmonious and positive work environment.

The needs of nurses who have the category of "good citizen" is the main concern that can not be ignored by management because it will have a positive impact on the organization.The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of workload, job satisfaction and organizational commitment to Organizational Citizenship Behavior nurses. The research involved 104 implementer nurses. Data excavation techniques used questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed by regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination.The result of the research at the 5% significance level shows that: Workload has positive effect not significant to OCB nurse (regression coefficient: 0.116, p value: 0.245). The variables that give positive and significant influence to the nurse OCB are job satisfaction (regression coefficient: 0,226 and p value: 0,022) and organizational commitment (regression coefficient: 0,253 and p value: 0,012). Workload, job satisfaction and organizational commitment simultaneously give positive and significant influence to OCB nurse (F arithmetic: 4.836) with sig value: 0,003). Organizational commitment was the most dominant variable significantly influence the organizational citizenship behavior of nurses in the context of nurses in Batara Guru regional hospital, Luwu regency. Production deviance is 1 of 5 dimensions of counterproductive work behaviors (CWB). Based on data collected from 362 employees of Chinese enterprises, I examined the predictive effect of Confucian values on production deviance and the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between Confucian values and production deviance using structural equation modeling. I analyzed 3 factors of production deviance: work sabotage, slackness, and withdrawal. Confucian values were found to have a significant negative impact on these factors. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to partially mediate the relationship between Confucian values slackness and withdrawal, but not work sabotage.

We explored the mediating effect of job satisfaction in the relationship between employees' performance appraisal and their voice behavior. A questionnaire was administered to 864 employees at enterprises representing high-tech industrial clusters from 5 cities in China. Developmental performance appraisal was found to have a more positive influence on employees' voice behavior than evaluative performance appraisal did. Compared with prohibitive voice behavior, both developmental and evaluative types of performance appraisal had a more positive impact on promotive voice behavior, and job satisfaction was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between these variables.
