AbstractWith the increasing connectivity of devices, the amount of data that is recorded and ready for analysis is growing correspondingly. This is also the case for shop floors in flexible sheet metal handling and production. With the growing need for flexibility in production, the availability of machine tools is imminent. This paper shows different approaches that a classical manufacturing systems company such as TRUMPF takes in applying data mining techniques to address the new challenges which come with the Internet of things. In addition to classical methods, a new approach is introduced that does not need any alteration of the machine or its interfaces.

Abstract: Smart Manufacturing systems are regarded as the fourth revolution in the manufacturing industry, which is shaped by widespread deployment of sensors and Internet of Things. The present work constitutes of ‘Development of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Dashboard for ‘Overall Equipment Effectiveness’ (OEE) Monitoring of CNC Machine Tools’ for a legacy CNC machine which is converted to smart machine. Data fetched from the CNC controllers through OPCUA is sent to the connected cloud database which will be imported into PowerBI desktop and the data has been classified and processed according to the requirement to develop a data modelling architecture of OEE, the Working status of the machine is visualized by Creating Monitoring and Performance charts and graphs of different design in Microsoft PowerBI Desktop. The Advanced visualizations constitutes od various features along with different analysing capabilities that results is creating reports which enumerates the state of OEE as a Key Performance Indicator (KPI). As Microsoft Power BI pertains a set of pre-established steps for data processing, the situation designated may constitute a limitation to automatic data refresh, leading to a do-over to verify, the specific interval of time, the conformity of data so they can be imported into the system. Keywords: Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Open Platform Communications United Architecture (OPCUA), Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Key Performance Indicator (KPI).

The use of hydrostatic guideways in CNC machine-tools is very common as a result of their low friction coefficient. The major problem of hydrostatic guideways represents the recovery of the fluid used in guideways, where the fluid should be protected against mechanical impurities and then led towards the hydraulic aggregate. The floating support described in this paper resolves the collection of fluid by using a closed circuit, without exposing the fluid to mehanical impurities and to a gravitational collecting.

The existing stand-alone multimedia machines and online multimedia machines in the market have certain deficiencies, so they cannot meet the actual needs. Based on this, this research combines the actual needs to design and implement a multi-media system based on the Internet of Things and cloud service platform. Moreover, through in-depth research on the MQTT protocol, this study proposes a message encryption verification scheme for the MQTT protocol, which can solve the problem of low message security in the Internet of Things communication to a certain extent. In addition, through research on the fusion technology of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, this research designs scheme to provide a LightGBM intelligent prediction module interface, MQTT message middleware, device management system, intelligent prediction and push interface for the cloud platform. Finally, this research completes the design and implementation of the cloud platform and tests the function and performance of the built multimedia system database. The research results show that the multimedia database constructed in this paper has good performance.

This paper discusses the organisations involved in the development of application standards, European regulations and best practice guides, their scope of work and internal structures. It considers their respective visions for the requirements for future standardisation work and considers in more detail those areas where these overlap, namely human centric or integrative lighting, connectivity and the Internet of Things, inclusivity and sustainability.

The economic diversification concept gives hope for a country with rich natural resources to strengthen its economic basis. Thus industrial revolution era of 4.0 provides great opportunity to fasten the process. A study by McKensey in 2011 proved that the internet in the developing country contributes around 3.4% towards its GDP which means that the internet has become a new hope for the economy in the future. Indonesia is one of the countries that is attempting to maximize the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) for its economic growth. The attempt has made the retail and tourism industries as the two main sectors to experience the significant effect of IoT. In the process of optimizing the IoT to support the economic growth, Indonesia faces several issues especially in the term of the internet network quality and its distribution, the inclusive access of financial access and the infrastructure
