The idea of after-sales services has been adopted globally to provide the consumers after the product or services rendered. The study explored the impact of after-sales services on customers retention of mobile telecommunication in Nigeria. Survey research was adopted, and the aim of using this design is premised on the fact that the study relied on obtaining information from the field using a questionnaire. The population consist of all the subscribers of MTN, Globacom, Airtel and 9mobile. Four hundred seventy-two (472) subscribers of mobile networks were proportionally drawn from the NCC website. Subsequently, a simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents from each of the mobile networks. Data collected were analysed using an application of simple percentage method in computer software packages (SPSS), and the regression analysis adopted by the testing of a reported hypothesis. The regression of [t-statistics] value of .01 and [2.63] demonstrates that the relationship between after-sale service and retention of customers is essential because the alpha level of 0.05 is higher than the p-value. Hence, the assumption is that growth in after-sales activities is a significant contributor to customer retention. Management should pay attention to the employee position to the quality of after-sales service, which results in future procurement and further recommendations.

In order to evaluate an optimal portfolio, an important step that investors or investment managers is portfolio analysis. In stock portfolio analysis, methods that can be used include the Markowitz approach and the Single Index Model. This study aims to apply the Single Index Model in finding the beta value of an efficient portfolio line, so that investors can determine the stocks and the proportion of funds needed to form an optimal portfolio. In this study, the data sources used were 1) market share price index that represents market factor or market data, 2) SBI interest rates that represents risk free (rf) and 3) The share prices of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk, PT Indocement Tunggal Perkasa Tbk and PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk. The weight of each share in the active portfolio (Wi0) at Active Pf A 1.0000 is ACES of 0.1729, INTP of 0.0460 and MPPA of 0.7811. Then the alpha of the ACES active portfolio is 0.0051, INTP is 0.0002 and the MPPA is 0.0184. Then the calculation results show the residual variance in the active ACES portfolio is 0.0041, INTP is 0.0001 and MPPA is 0.0147. Similarly, PLS-SEM approach was used in data analysis to confirm validity of the model and subsequently analyze the structural model for obtaining the path analysis.Findings Relationship between search orientation, and market experience are approximately equal in terms of positive strength, while innovativeness of customers emerged as the least in terms of strength in positive relationship. Customers are therefore less innovative when it comes to general knowledge and experience in evaluating the prospects of different options. Brand value orientation is also a strong determinant of customer sophistication because respondents are more attached to brands they are more familiar with than taking brand of services that are new and becoming more risk averse. The study explores the correlations between child labour and poverty alleviation among the low-income earners in Kwara State, Nigeria. Survey design and purposive sampling method were employed to select the respondents from the 3 Senatorial districts of Kwara state. The Chi-square (X2 ) method of dataanalyses then used to analyze the data obtained. The result is a 2x2 table is taken a degree of freedom of (r-1) (k-1) = 1 at 5% level of significance, X2t = 3.84 and X2c = 0.17. Since the X2t> X2c, it shows that a relationship exists between child labour and poverty reduction in Kwara state. The study concluded that governments, at the federal and state levels, are yet to live up to their expectations. Their inability to provide jobs for graduates have discouraged most of the children to have an interest in schooling. Therefore, the government should provide a potent economic environment that will encourage those with genuine ideas to engage in promising economic activities.
