Because of the optimization of the clinical and social prognosis of patients with cancer in recent decades, the possibility of incorporating rehabilitation in the continuum of cancer care is considered. Therefore, this study presents a comparative analysis of the quality of life among 427 working-age respondents with breast cancer in disease situations using the WHO QOL 100 questionnaire. Based on the results, a statistically significant decrease in the quality of life among the respondents in the physical and the level of independence spheres in the non-terminal situation of the disease was found, whereas in the group of incurable patients, a statistically significant decrease in the quality of life among the respondents in the physical, psychological, and level of independence spheres was found. Through the findings of this study, the rehabilitation of cancer patients in disease situations can be personified, and recommendations for improving the continuum of cancer care can be developed.

Breast cancer patients experience physical and psychological changes. Psychic changes include sadness, worry, and fear related to the future and death. This psychological change would affect the quality of life. Data in the SMC Hospital Tasikmalaya District in 2017, the number of cancer cases reached 142, and 75% of them were stadium II and III with therapy namely chemotherapy. This study aimed to explore more deeply the quality of life of patients with cancer mammae who had chemotherapy. This qualitative research applied the phenomenology approach. Participants were selected by purposive sampling technique, 4 patients participated in this study. Data were analyzed by Collaizi methods. The results of the study found themes including the causes of physical limitations of breast cancer sufferers, sleep disorders of breast cancer patients, psychological problems of breast cancer sufferers and sexual relations of breast cancer sufferers. Nurses are advised to provide motivation and support for breast cancer patients by providing optimal nursing care to improve the quality of life of patients.Keywords: Breast cancer, hope, Quality of life

Psychological rehabilitation is an integral part of rehabilitation of a cancer patient. Psychological rehabilitation is aimed at a patient adaptation in the situation of the disease and improvement his quality of life. Understanding of an oncological disease is extreme and (or) crisis situation and monitoring dynamics of the psychological statement of a patient allows using differentiated approach in the provision of professional psychological assistance. The modified scale of self-esteem level of distress (IPOS) was used for screening of mental and emotional stress of cancer patients. There were selected groups of cancer patients who were most in need of professional psychological assistance. Results of a psychological study of one of these groups - breast cancer patients - are presented.
