The dynamics of a functional state of cardiovascular and sympathetic adrenal systems in students aged 1719 years throughout the academic year in the first, second and third УДК 616.921.5-06-037 course of the Pedagogical Institute is studied. The adaptation process of students is shown to be accompanied by stress periods in the functional state of cardiovascular and sympathetic adrenal systems. The response of the systems under study to the dosed physical load varies according to their functioning intensity. The character of correlative relations between hormonal and mediative links of sympathetic adrenal system and statistical characteristics of the cardiac rhythm depends on the training period and may serve as a criterion of the functional stress of the students organism.

To examine the effects of eprosartan on the remodelling of the heart and large vessels, on endothelial dysfunction and autonomic circulatory regulation in patients with hypertensive disease, thirteen patients were included into the study: Doppler echocardiographic study and evaluation of left ventricular diastolic function were performed on a Vingmed CFM800 apparatus: the thickness of the carotid intima-media complex and the diameter of the brachial artery were determined on the same apparatus using a 7.5-MHz transducer in the reactive hyperemia test. Automatic balance was evaluated by the spectral assay of cardiac rhythm variations. The cardiopulmonary component of baroreflex was also tested. Blood pressure normalized in 3 patients following 24 weeks of therapy with eprosartan in a daily dose of 600 mg. Two patients were excluded due to therapeutic inefficiency. In the remaining patients, the antihypertensive effect was incomplete. The mass of the left myocardial myocardium decreased by 10.8%. there was an increase in brachial arterial dilatation in the reactive hyperemia test. The variations of cardiac rhythm were not significantly changed, the baroreflex tended to be decreased. Thus, long-term eprosartan therapy improves the structural and functional state of the heart and vessels and fails to affect the autonomic regulation of circulation.

Excretion of catecholamines indiumal urine of 75 children with febrile convulsionns has been studied. It has been revealed that functional state of sympathetic adrenal system in children with febrile convulsions is characterized by a number of peculiarities. They include an increase of adrenaline and norepinephrine. In the case of transformation of febrile into afebrile seizures additional increase of dopamine excretion is observed. Thats why hypersecretion of the three mentioned amines is estimated as prognostically unfavourable factor of the course of febrile convulsions. According to our findings, progression of seizures in sleeping state is also prognostically unfavourable symptom of the course of febrile seizures. The obtained biochemical ringings together with clinical information can serve as prognostic criteria in solving the problem of variations of the course of febrile convulsions.

On the basis of extensive archival material from the fund of People’s Commissariat of Education of the RSFSR (file A-2306 «People’s Commissariat of Education of the RSFSR: 1917–1945, Ministry of Education of the RSFSR: 1946–1988») of the State Archives of the Russian Federation (SARF, Moscow), the history of M. V. Frunze Crimean State Pedagogical Institute after its return to Simferopol in 1944 has been restored. Various groups of documents have been widely used: correspondence of the director of the institute V. M. Borovsky with numerous authorities on the functioning of the university; directives, decisions of state institutions, reflected in the activities of the CSPI; reporting and planning documentation of the Institute; materials of inspections of the educational institution by the supervising bodies for its readiness to conduct training sessions during the period under review. The stage of restoration of the activity of the university after its re-evacuation to Simferopol has been examined in detail; the measures for preparing for the beginning of the first academic year in the Crimea have been examined. The unrealized project on restoration of the university on the peninsula on the basis of M. V. Frunze Crimean State Pedagogical Institute is analyzed.

The authors demonstrate the importance of individual criteria for the choice of dosed physical load for the patients with cardiological problems during hospitalization. The analysis of the functional state and hemodynamic parameters included 68 patients with various cardiovascular diseases before and after performance of the special program ofphysical rehabilitation. The results suggest high efficiency of the proposed treatment and good prospects for further studies in this field.
