Teresa de Jesús wroter poetry because she had a musical soul and knew how to give rhythm to her poems. It is a music that emerges from the darkness and speaks from the deep, destined to rise from the force of its painful waiting, hence the invitation to prayer with the shudder of being living substance. Turned towards his own interior, his poems enhance his sound energy from the nakedness of his feigned rhetoric and make us blow our ears towards the supernatural, seeking the recovery of the lost order.

Five subjects with normal middle ear mechanisms, and otosclerotic patients, before and after stapedectomy, matched the loudness of their voices to the loudness of a 125-cps-sawtooth noise. The results showed loudness matching functions with gradual slopes, less than 1.00, for the normal subjects and the patients prior to stapedectomy. Post-surgically, the loudness function for the patients increased in steepness to considerably more than 1.00. These results are explained, most logically, in terms of increased sensitivity of the altered middle ear to sound energy generated by the listener’s own voice.

Underwater noise produced by rainfall is an important component of underwater ambient noise. For example, the existence of rainfall noise causes strong disturbances to sonar performance. The underwater noise produced by a single raindrop is the basis of rainfall noise. Therefore, it is necessary to study the associated underwater noise when drops strike the water surface. Previous research focused primarily on the sound pressure and frequency spectrum of underwater noise from single raindrops, but the study on its sound energy is insufficient. The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for predicting the acoustic energy generated by raindrops of any diameter. Here, a formula was derived to calculate the underwater sound energy radiated by single raindrops based on a dipole radiation pattern. A series of experiments were conducted to measure the underwater sound energy in a 15 m × 9 m × 6 m reverberation tank filled with tap water. The analysis of the acoustic energy characteristics and conversion efficiency from kinetic to acoustic energy helped develop the model to predict the average underwater sound energy radiated by single raindrops. Using this model, the total underwater sound energy of all raindrops during a rainfall event can be predicted based on the drop size distribution.

Taipei Top Church Auditorium is a hall primarily intended for praise and worship. A three dimensional ray tracing computer simulation was used to provide sound energy distribution on the audience area of the hall, realistic design have been performed. The volume of the hall is 24600m3, which is occupied for 2200 people and equipped the hall with acoustical curtains by modifying its acoustical characteristics. Objective measurements of impulse response are reported, and background noise control and noise isolation are also be considered in the design phase. Reinforcement system is conducted to meet all the activity for the acoustical environments.
