A large number of cellular operators in an area causes high interference effects. One indicator is the problem with received total wideband power (RTWP) found in a universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS). High RTWP is one of the causes of a decrease in the quality of service (QoS) in cellular communication networks. To solve this problem, an RF band-pass filter device can be implemented on a UMTS system, where RF band-pass filters have been designed and tested in previous studies. In this research, the RF band-pass filter was installed between the BTS node and bottom jumper. After implementing it, QoS measurements with the Huawei M2000 application and Drive Test were carried out. The QoS analysis included RTWP, Circuit-Switched access rate, Packet-Switched access rate, and Received Signal Code Power (RSCP) value. The results show that the RTWP value decreases, while the CS access rate, PS access rate, and RSCP value increase. These results indicate that QoS on the UMTS increases.

This paper presents a novel method of expressing the quality of service in a mobile telecommunication system when its performance depends on several factors including applied codecs? characteristics (voice quality and data flow rate) and telecommunications traffic service possibilities. The influence of these factors is unified in one variable - quality of service measure. The proposed method is especially applicable in the cases when two-dimensional systems are analyzed - for example when two codecs with different flow rate and different achievable connection quality are used in a system. As an example, we also studied system with full-rate or mixed full-rate and half-rate codec implementation depending on the offered traffic. The system performances - mean dataflow and mean connection quality as a function of offered traffic are presented graphically and also expressed quantitatively by the novel quality of service measure. The systems with different number of available traffic channels may be compared on the base of this novel evaluation value such that the system with the highest value is the most suitable one for the concrete situation. In this way mobile system design is simplified to the great extent. The developed model is applicable generally for mobile telephony systems defining, but in this paper we studied its implementation for Global System for Mobile communications.

Filters are some of the highly essential components used for operating in most electronic based circuits. Filters are most important and widely used to block some portion of signals according to frequency. Having a detailed knowledge of various filters. A designer will be able to design an efficient communication networks, by varying the cut off frequencies. Filters are required in computer, mechanical and some other fields too. As days passed by the usage of active and passive filters has gradually increased in the market. There are various types of Filters available, in which we are going to perform the simulation of Low pass, High Pass and Band pass Filter using Verilog Hardware Descriptive Language and Xilinx ISE 13.1 as a simulation tool. This paper provides a detailed explanation, circuit diagram, advantages, disadvantages, applications, working of Verilog code and simulation result of Low pass, High pass and Band pass filter. Using Verilog Hardware Descriptive language its simpler to understand and execute the functionality of filters then using other tools like MATLAB, Microcontroller, Microprocessor.

On remote sensing imaging platform, quality of image is normally degraded by aliasing. The low-pass filter is commonly used to dealiasing. However low-pass filter introduces error for frequencies above its cutoff frequency. And the removed aliasing is also valuable information. To retain the valuable information, we propose a restoration based on band-pass filter. Firstly, the image is transformed into frequency domain. A restoration of reciprocal cell is adopted. It is based on geometrical characteristics of sensors. As a result, the superposition parts are separated from spectrum inside the bandwidth. Then aliasing spectrum is put into right position. Inverse filter is used to deblurring and remove the color noise. Finally, the shift invariance wavelet is combined to reduce the white noise. The test results indicate that the proposed restoration is better than conventional restorations. Valuable information of the restored spectrum is more than degraded spectrum. So this proposed method will be beneficial in the field of practical projects.

The testing results of required channel resource mathematical estimating models for the for serving the proposed multimedia load in packet-switched communication networks are presented in the article. The assessment of the attainable level of quality of service at the level of data packet transportation was carried out by means of simulation modeling of the functioning of a switching node of a communication network. The developed modeling algorithm differs from the existing ones by taking into account the introduced delay for processing each data stream packet arriving at the switching node, depending on the size of the reserved buffer and the channel resource for its maintenance. A joint examination of the probability of packet loss and the introduced delay in the processing of data packets in the border router allows a comprehensive assessment of the quality of service «end to end», which in turn allows you to get more accurate values of the effective data transmitted rate by aggregating flows at the entrance to the transport network.
