Salivary glands tumors are relatively uncommon in pediatric age group. Less incidence is expected in minor salivary glands of pediatric patients. In the buccal minor salivary glands only five cases reported as pleomorphic adenoma in english literature. Herein we present an 11 years old boy presented with right side buccal mass which is mobile on physical examination with normal overlying buccal mucosa. Histopathology revealed a pleomorphic adenoma. Such case is rare in this part of oral cavity especially in young age group. our case is the third youngest patients with buccal pleomorphic adenoma. Reporting it will add a material to the literature for further studies on such disease presentation.

AbstractPleomorphic adenoma is the commonest benign tumour of the major salivary glands. It can also occur in minor salivary glands, mainly in the oral cavity, but also in other sites in the head and neck both within and outwith the upper aerodigestive tract. We present a rare case of pleomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum with consideration of the clinical management and a review of the literature.

Myxoid variant of chondrosarcoma is an uncommon potentially lethal malignant tumor which is even rare in pediatric age group. In the present paper, we report one such case of intermediate grade myxoid chondrosarcoma of left side of maxilla in a 12-year-old girl. The present case had a firm, painless, and lobulated growth in premolar-molar region which was associated with bicortical expansion. Maxillofacial imaging showed ill-defined radiolucency with displaced maxillary molars. Osteolytic changes were evident with the alveolus and walls of maxillary sinus. Owing to the age of the patient, surgical excision was selected as the modality of management followed by postoperative radiotherapy. This report encompasses the entire gamut of clinicopathological, radiological, and treatment modalities employed for chondrosarcoma.

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most common salivary gland tumor but is extremely rare in pediatric patients. The parotid gland is the most affected salivary gland, and the minor salivary glands are rarely affected. Here, we report a case of a 12-year-old boy with a pleomorphic adenoma of the palate.
