The aim of this study is to identify publications in 21 century pandemic situation by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) related to augmented reality (AR) and to describe the characteristics of those studies. The Google Scholar database was searched for publications on AR in COVID-19 research criteria between 2019 and 2021. Bibliographic coupling of the details and co-occurrences of the publication of the author keywords were examined for the selected publications. A total of 2907 publications were selected following the research criteria between 2019 and 2021. The results showed that among the most researched researchers in AR study are the names of authors with color highlights from different countries. The study addressed the pattern in research and advancement of the idea of increased pandemic reality for COVID19.

This paper provides a discussion and analysis of methodological issues encountered during a scholarly impact and bibliometric study within the field of Computer Science (TRECVid Text Retrieval and Evaluation Conference, Video Retrieval Evaluation). The purpose of this paper is to provide a reflection and analysis of the methods used to provide useful information and guidance for those who may wish to undertake similar studies, and is of particular relevance for the academic disciplines which have publication and citation norms that may not perform well using traditional tools. Scopus and Google Scholar are discussed and a detailed comparison of the effects of different search methods and cleaning methods within and between these tools for subject and author analysis is provided. The additional database capabilities and usefulness of ‘Scopus More’ in addition to ‘Scopus General’ are discussed and evaluated. Scopus paper coverage is found to favourably compare with Google Scholar but Scholar consistently has superior performance at finding citations to those papers. These additional citations significantly increase the citation totals and also change the relative ranking of papers. Publish or Perish, a software wrapper for Google Scholar, is also examined and its limitations and some possible solutions are described. Data cleaning methods, including duplicate checks, expert domain checking of bibliographic data, and content checking of retrieved papers, are compared and their relative effects on paper and citation count discussed. Google Scholar and Scopus are also compared as tools for collecting bibliographic data for visualizations of developing trends and, owing to the comparative ease of collecting abstracts, Scopus is found far more effective.

The study analyses research output of Anna University (Tamil Nadu) using Scopus database during the period 1988 to 2017 (30 years). Further predominance was given for Type of Source, Chronological growth, Subject wise contribution, Document type preferred, Collaborated Country, Collaborated Institutions, Contributed Journal, Highly contributed author, Keywords Preferred and Language of the paper.A total of 23,883 records have been identified and the same has been analyzed using bibliometric study. There has been steady growth of publications and 50% of articles appeared during the last five years between 2013 and 2017. The publications were doubled once in seven years. The average publication per year works out to 795 papers and nearly 78% of contributions were from Engineering; Computer Science; Materials Science, Physics and Astronomy. Around 17 Countries collaborated and contributed to more than 101 papers. The top three journals which have more publications were, “International Journal of Applied Engineering Research”; “European Journal of Scientific Research” and “Journal of Crystal Growth”.

Purpose. The aim of the work is to indicate the impact of publications from the “Folia Turistica” journal on the development of knowledge on marketing in tourism in Poland. Method. The article analyses citability (as of 20 Oct. 2018) of articles published in the journal, addressing marketing issues. However, the article cannot be treated as a typical bibliometric study, because the most important conclusions were derived by deduction. Findings. From among the very numerous articles published in the “Folia Turistica” issues, those devoted to the problem of marketing in tourism, or at least aspects related to it, are not very numerous. The contribution of this journal to the development of knowledge on marketing in tourism does not result from a large number of publications, but mainly from the publication of several items whose frequency of quoting makes them considered as very important publications (from those published in Poland) in the development of understanding the essence marketing in tourism. Research and conclusions limitations. In the bibliometric research, the Google Scholar database was used, which although indexes the largest number of Polish scientific journals, is still very incomplete. Practical implications. The text is an analysis of scientific publications and contains only a few guidelines for practitioners. Such a suggestion may be an indication of particularly scientifically influential texts on marketing in tourism, which may be of interest to economic practitioners. Originality. So far, this type of analysis has not been conducted in Poland, not only in the case of “Folia Turistica”, but also for other scientific journals related to research in the tourism industry. Type of work. The article is of review nature.

The study presents the bibliometric analysis of Journal of Taibah University of Science. The analysis scrutinizes mainly distribution of articles, length of articles, collaboration pattern, distribution of citations, and self-citations etc. A total number of 111 articles were analyzed which were retrieved from the journal website for a period of 2008 to 2014. Collaborative approach is more preferable (79%) than solo approach as it constitutes only 21%. Most of the contributions are from foreign sources (60%) with 40% of the contributions local in nature. The average number of citations for articles cited in Google Scholar is 2.07, but as a whole for all cited and not cited articles is .50 per article.

This study aims to map the Asian literature on emotions in learning, teaching, and leadership through a review of published research in Web of Science Core Collection. In all, 862 articles published between 1990 and 2018 were retrieved and analyzed. Bibliographic coupling of the countries, bibliographic coupling of the authors, co-occurrences of author keywords, bibliographic coupling of the journals, and bibliographic coupling of the institutions were extracted through bibliographic visualization methods. All the h-classics publications were also reviewed and categorized according to their topics. People’s Republic of China (Hong Kong), Israel, Turkey, and Cyprus are the countries with most relevant evidence. The top authors are found to be D.W Chan and M. Zembylas, while emotional intelligence, empathy, burnout, emotion, and self-efficacy have been the most frequently studied concepts. Teaching and Teacher Education and Journal of Educational Psychology are the journals with prominent pertinent influence. Education University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Ben-Gurion University of the Negev are the institutions with the most notable influence. The current situation and research trends are discussed in the article.

Abstract: Keeping the student focused for long periods of time has been a challenge for teachers. The adoption of new teaching strategies in which students leave the position of listeners and share with the master the active position is already known and even adopted. These strategies give students the opportunity to have more interactive experiences, stimulate independent thinking, create discussions within the group thus contribute to the improvement of the teaching- learning process. In that sense, the use of educational games has been an alternative, as they can mitigate the difficulty that students have in making the parallel between the concepts theorists learned from situations of application of this knowledge. Monitor the growth of the literature and research patterns in a given thematic area is an important step to understand the development of this domain. Therefore, the bibliometrics has been an emerging area, as it aims to describe, evaluate and monitor research published in a given field of knowledge. In this way, it is defined as the general objective of this work to map and characterize publications on the use of games and related terms in Production Engineering from bibliometric research in the annals of the National Meeting of Production Engineering. In this research, techniques such as Citation, Bibliographic Coupling, Co-author, Co-citation and Co- word were used, from which bibliometric maps are generated with the aid of the VOSviewer software, in which, for example, the most used keywords are shown; institutions and authors who publish works in the field; the authors who are engaged bibliographically; those who work together; and those that appear simultaneously in the reference lists.
