SummaryForty-eight healthy pregnant women were studied prospectively and longitudinally. Blood sampling was performed at 10-15, 23-25, 32-34 and 38-40 weeks of gestation, within one week and at eight weeks postpartum. Classic and modified activated protein C ratio decreased as pregnancy progressed. In the third trimester 92% of the ratios measured with the classic test were above the lower reference level whereas all modified test ratios were normal. Slight activation of blood coagulation was shown with increased levels of prothrombin fragment 1+2, soluble fibrin and D-dimer. Fibrinogen, factor VIII and plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 and type 2 increased. Protein S and tissue plasminogen activator activity decreased. Protein C remained unchanged. No correlation was found between the decrease in classic APC ratio and changes in factor VIII, fibrinogen, protein S, prothrombin fragment 1+2 or soluble fibrin, nor between the increase in soluble fibrin and changes in prothrombin fragment 1+2, fibrinogen and D-dimer.

Background: Separation methods of local anesthesia to diffuse and vascular must significantly affect the clinical effect of adrenaline containing local anesthetic (mepivacaine). The aim of this prospective, randomized, controlled studies µAde was to compare the degree of anesthesia of intact upper lateral incisor the cartridge ¼ 3% mepivacain without epinephrine in the group after the infiltration and after intraligamentary anesthesia (ILA) in the experimental group. Methods: Anesthesia performed computer syringe Sleeper One 86 subjects aged 20-23 years. In all cases, aspiration was performed. With pulp tester IVN-01 measured the pain threshold incisors and canines in microamperes during the anesthetic effect. Results: Reference level of all researched teeth (86 subjects) was ranged from 1 to 10 µA. Uniform pain threshold increase to 95 (±20) µA by 5 min. watched during infiltration anesthesia then this value gradually descended to reference level (by 20 min.). Peak single increase of pain threshold to 55 (±8,9) µA occurred immediately after 1st minute of ILA, then this value subsequently drops to reference level (10 µA) by 20 minutes. Difference between groups of infiltration and intraligamentary anesthesia (ILA+ red) and (ILA – green) presented on Chart 6. Conclusions: Infiltration anesthesia with mepivacaine without epinephrine smoothly diffusely increased the pain threshold of the front teeth, reaching a significant, maximum effect by 5 minutes. Intraligamentary injection immediately after administration created a peak increase in pain sensitivity at a lower level, almost without the participation of the diffuse component.

Tobacco smoke is enormously harmful to human health, there’s no safe way to smoke. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the role of tobacco smoke compounds and their ability to damage the cardiovascular system and, in particular, to interfere with blood pressure (Brachial and radial pressure), heart rate and partly on the percentage blood Oxygen saturation. A new device has been manufactured which is unique for measuring the level of smoke, to obtained privies readings, the device had fixed to the first reference level آ and starting up from it. The effect of smoking has been studied on (26) male passive (26) active smoker volunteer, (14) female passive and (14) female active smoker participants. The results has been showed that the blood pressure and heart rate has been increased with increasing the number of cigarettes in both genders for passive and active smokers. However, this effect for male was more pronounced comparing with females for passive and active smokers. In the case of oxygen saturation concentration percentage, for males the change of oxygen concentration percentage was not stable. In other words, it was fluctuated with the number of cigarettes. But for females the oxygen concentration was decreased but not too much. This means that this effect was not pronounced. this study found آ that the most pronounced effect has been shown by male’s comparison to females for both passive and active smokers. As well as in nonsmoker’s males, the relation between heart rate and smoke level is inversely proportional. While in male and female smokers and female nonsmokers the relation is proportional. In all cases the relation between the smoke level and time of smoking is inversely proportional. Finally males& females are affected differently by tobacco use; the sensitivities to smoke for males are higher than in females for passive and active smokers in both brachial and radial blood pressure measurement.

The article focuses on the libraries and the publishing and book trading organizations established by Moscow students in the early twentieth century. These organizations were founded to make the textbooks more available, cheaper and less deficient than they were at the moment. As the resource of the textbooks, libraries of compatriots’ associations were widespread. At the Moscow University students publishing commissions (parts of benefit societies) printed lecture notes and examination programs. Library, publishing, and trading activities were tightly bound in these societies. In the Moscow Technical School and the Moscow Women High Courses the libraries and publishing houses functioned independently of each other and of economical organizations of students. The students Library of textbooks at the Moscow Agricultural Institute was really unique, as it combined library service with book publishing for a while. Book trade was usually managed by publishers. Besides students organizations within educational institutes, there functioned a cooperative bookstore and a publishing house at the same time, common for all Moscow students. A dream, that never came true, was a Students House and united library collections of textbooks in it. In spite of many complications, the cooperation was successful, and due to it, access to the textbooks was facilitated for many students.
