Abstract The dual probabilistic linguistic (DPL) term sets are considered superior to probabilistic linguistic term sets. The power average operator can lessen the effects of the extreme assessing data from some decision-makers with prejudice. Further, the Dombi operators are quite flexible with the general parameter during the aggregation process. Moreover, based on deviation from the maximum consistency by the exclusion of the concern of the redundancy of the comparisons made in criteria pairs, FUCOM (full consistency method) is utilized as a subjective criteria weight computing model. Besides, MARCOS (Measurements alternatives and ranking according to compromise solution) method is based on the determination of utility degrees according to the distance from anti-ideal and ideal solutions and their aggregations. In this study, we combine the merits of power average operator, Dombi operator, FUCOM technique and MARCOS for dealing with multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) problems under a DPL setting where rank of the alternatives are obtained through MARCOS method. For aggregating decision-experts preferences, we propose two types of operators, namely- DPL Dombi power weighted averaging and DPL Dombi power weighted geometric aggregation operators. We discuss the elegant properties of these proposed aggregation operators. We provide a case study regarding open source software learning management system selection to focus the practicability and usefulness of the proposed approach. Furthermore, we perform a sensitivity assessment on diverse criteria weight sets in order to test the stability of our developed intriguing approach. To this effect, we also provide a comparison between our approach with various extant methods.

One of the major problems of varied knowledge-based systems has to do with aggregation and fusion. Pang’s probabilistic linguistic term sets denotes aggregation of fuzzy information and it has attracted tremendous interest from researchers recently. The purpose of this article is to deal investigating methods of information aggregation under the probabilistic linguistic environment. In this situation we defined certain Einstein operational laws on probabilistic linguistic term elements (PLTESs) based on Einstein product and Einstein sum. Consequently, we develop some probabilistic linguistic aggregation operators, notably the probabilistic linguistic Einstein average (PLEA) operators, probabilistic linguistic Einstein geometric (PLEG) operators, weighted probabilistic linguistic Einstein average (WPLEA) operators, weighted probabilistic linguistic Einstein geometric (WPLEG) operators. These operators extend the weighted averaging operator and the weighted geometric operator for the purpose of aggregating probabilistic linguistic terms values respectively. Einstein t-norm and Einstein t-conorm constitute effective aggregation tools and they allow input arguments to reinforce each other downwardly and upwardly respectively. We then generate various properties of these operators. With the aid of the WPLEA and WPLEG, we originate the approaches for the application of multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) with the probabilistic linguistic term sets (PLTSs). Lastly, we apply an illustrative example to elucidate our proposed methods and also validate their potentials.

In this paper, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TCHFEWA) operator, triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TCHFEOWA) operator and triangular cubic hesitant fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TCHFEHWA) operator are proposed. An approach to multiple attribute group decision making with linguistic information is developed based on the TCHFEWA and the TCHFEHWA operators. Furthermore, we establish various properties of these operators and derive the relationship between the proposed operators and the existing aggregation operators. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the application of the established approach.

Abstract In this paper, we introduce the notion of Einstein aggregation operators, such as the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging aggregation operator and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging aggregation operator. We also discuss some desirable properties, such as idempotency, boundedness, commutativity, and monotonicity. The main advantage of using the proposed operators is that these operators give a more complete view of the problem to the decision makers. These operators provide more accurate and precise results as compared the existing method. Finally, we apply these operators to deal with multiple-attribute group decision making under interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy information. For this, we construct an algorithm for multiple-attribute group decision making. Lastly, we also construct a numerical example for multiple-attribute group decision making.

In this paper, a new concept of the triangular neutrosophic cubic fuzzy numbers (TNCFNs), their score and accuracy functions are introduced. Based on TNCFNs, some new Einstein aggregation operators, such as the triangular neutrosophic cubic fuzzy Einstein weighted averaging (TNCFEWA), triangular neutrosophic cubic fuzzy Einstein ordered weighted averaging (TNCFEOWA) and triangular neutrosophic cubic fuzzy Einstein hybrid weighted averaging (TNCFEHWA) operators are developed. Furthermore, their application to multiple-attribute decision-making with triangular neutrosophic cubic fuzzy (TNCF) information is discussed. Finally, a practical example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Under the interval-valued hesitant fuzzy information environment, we investigate a multiattribute group decision making (MAGDM) method with continuous entropy weights and improved Hamacher information aggregation operators. Firstly, we introduce the axiomatic definition of entropy for interval-valued hesitant fuzzy elements (IVHFEs) and construct a continuous entropy formula on the basis of the continuous ordered weighted averaging (COWA) operator. Then, based on the Hamachert-norm andt-conorm, the adjusted operational laws for IVHFEs are defined. In order to aggregate interval-valued hesitant fuzzy information, some new improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher aggregation operators are investigated, including the improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher ordered weighted averaging (I-IVHFHOWA) operator and the improved interval-valued hesitant fuzzy Hamacher ordered weighted geometric (I-IVHFHOWG) operator, the desirable properties of which are discussed. In addition, the relationship among these proposed operators is analyzed in detail. Applying the continuous entropy and the proposed operators, an approach to MAGDM is developed. Finally, a numerical example for emergency operating center (EOC) selection is provided, and comparative analyses with existing methods are performed to demonstrate that the proposed approach is both valid and practical to deal with group decision making problems.

Consider the various types of uncertain preference information provided by the decision makers and the importance of determining the associated weights for the aggregation operator, the multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) methods based on some dependent interval 2-tuple linguistic aggregation operators are proposed in this paper. Firstly some operational laws and possibility degree of interval 2-tuple linguistic variables are introduced. Then, we develop a dependent interval 2-tuple weighted averaging (DITWA) operator and a dependent interval 2-tuple weighted geometric (DITWG) operator, in which the associated weights only depend on the aggregated interval 2-tuple arguments and can relieve the influence of unfair arguments on the aggregated results by assigning low weights to them. Based on the DITWA and the DITWG operators, some approaches for multiple attribute group decision making with interval 2-tuple linguistic information are proposed. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approaches.

An important research topic related to the theory and application of the interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy weighted aggregation operators is how to determine their associated weights. In this paper, we propose a precise weight-determined (PWD) method of the monotonicity and scale-invariance, just based on the new score and accuracy functions of interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy number (IIFN). Since the monotonicity and scale-invariance, the PWD method may be a precise and objective approach to calculate the weights of IIFN and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operator, and a more suitable approach to distinguish different decision makers (DMs) and experts in group decision making. Based on the PWD method, we develop two new interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators, i.e. interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered precise weighted averaging (IIFOPWA) operator and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy ordered precise weighted geometric (IIFOPWG) operator, and study their desirable properties in detail. Finally, we provide an illustrative example.

The aim of this paper is applying the linguistic term and linguistic variables to picture fuzzy information. In this article the multiple attribute group decision making is considered. First we develop the picture linguistic averaging aggregation operators based on new operation on picture fuzzy information. For the (MCGDM) problems with picture linguistic information, we define a score index and accuracy index of (PLNs), and prefer a technique to the correlation among the two (PLNs). Simultaneously, some operation laws for (PLNs) are defined and the related properties are studied. Further, some aggregation operators are developed: picture linguistic weighted averaging (PLWA), picture linguistic ordered weighted averaging (PLOWA), picture linguistic hybrid averaging (PLHA) operators

The basic ideas of rough sets and intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) are precise statistical instruments that can handle vague knowledge easily. The EDAS (evaluation based on distance from average solution) approach plays an important role in decision-making issues, particularly when multicriteria group decision-making (MCGDM) issues have more competing criteria. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the intuitionistic fuzzy rough Frank EDAS (IFRF-EDAS) methodology based on IF rough averaging and geometric aggregation operators. We proposed various aggregation operators such as IF rough Frank weighted averaging (IFRFWA), IF rough Frank ordered weighted averaging (IFRFOWA), IF rough Frank hybrid averaging (IFRFHA), IF rough Frank weighted geometric (IFRFWG), IF rough Frank ordered weighted geometric (IFRFOWG), and IF rough Frank hybrid geometric (IFRFHG) on the basis of Frank t-norm and Frank t-conorm. Information is given for the basic favorable features of the analyzed operator. For the suggested operators, a new score and precision functions are described. Then, using the suggested method, the IFRF-EDAS method for MCGDM and its stepwise methodology are shown. After this, a numerical example is given for the established model, and a comparative analysis is generally articulated for the investigated models with some previous techniques, showing that the investigated models are much more efficient and useful than the previous techniques.
