Today’s learning landscape differs greatly from that of a few years ago (Bates, 2015; Daniel, 2016; Mathes, 2019; Ossiannilsson, Williams, Camilleri, Brown, 2015). The main global challenges highlighted so far and affecting and influencing education are globalization, changing demographics and increasing digitization (Schwab, 2016). The United Nations’ UNESCO sustainability goals aim to meet these challenges (2015a; 2015b). In the field of education, the SDG4 focuses on education for all through its core areas of access, equity, equality, equality, inclusion and lifelong learning. Mobile learning is the first choice for most people today. The way learners learn is changing dramatically, due to the fourth industrial revolution, not just the way we learn, but also the way we live, perform, communicate, and interact (Schwab, 2016). Today, learning is possible anywhere, anytime and through any type of device. In the context of globalization and the knowledge-based economy, the quality of higher education is increasingly seen as strategically important for national economic development and competitiveness. High quality and relevant higher education provide students with the knowledge, skills and transferable core competences they need to succeed after graduation, in a high-quality learning environment that recognizes and supports good learning and teaching. The combination of educational technologies is both natural and demanding, so quality aspects must be taken into account (Bates, 2017, Daniels, 2016, Heurtas et al., 2018).

The economic crises which have been witnessed in the capitalist economy have led the decision makers to consider an alternative economy that could enable them to overcome those crises. The knowledge-based economy that invests in human thoughts has become a reliable alternative in its foundational dimensions such as education, innovation and technology. Focusing on education would make us ask: In what ways can a teacher invest in the learner’s thoughts? The objective of this research is to try to answer the raised question. Dealing with the previous studies besides listing the personal experience in teaching, and proposing a model lesson could lead to a result: the students link between their studies and make their innovations concrete and contributive to the economy of their country. Otherwise, this research will pave the way to more diligence.

The appeals to minimize state intervention in the Russian economy are counterproductive. However the excessive involvement of the state is fraught with the threat of building nomenclature capitalism. That is the main idea of the series of articles by prominent representatives of Russian economic thought who formulate their position on key elements of the long-term strategy of Russia’s development. The last three decades have seen a massive expansion of China's visual culture industries, from architecture and graphic design to fine art and fashion. New ideologies of creativity and creative practices have reshaped the training of a new generation of art school graduates. This is the first book to explore how Chinese art students develop, embody, and promote their own personalities and styles as they move from art school entrance test preparation, to art school, to work in the country's burgeoning culture industries. India has gradually evolved as knowledge based economy due to the abundance of capable, flexible and qualified human capital. With the constantly rising influence of globalization, India has immense opportunities to establish its distinctive position in the world. However, there is a need to further develop and empower the human capital to ensure the nations global competitiveness. Despite the empathetic stress laid on education and training in this country, there is still a shortage of skilled manpower to address the mounting needs and demands of the economy. Skill building can be viewed as an instrument to improve the effectiveness and contribution of labor to the overall production. It is as an important ingredient to push the production possibility frontier outward and to take growth rate of the economy to a higher trajectory. This paper focuses on skill development in Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) which contribute nearly 8 percent of the country's GDP, 45 percent of the manufacturing output and 40 percent of the exports. They provide the largest share of employment after agriculture. They are the nurseries for entrepreneurship and innovation. SMEs have been established in almost all-major sectors in the Indian industry. The main assets for any firm, especially small and medium sized enterprises are their human capital. This is even more important in the knowledge based economy, where intangible factors and services are of growing importance. The rapid obsolescence of knowledge is a key factor of the knowledge economy. However, we also know that for a small business it is very difficult to engage staff in education and training in order to update and upgrade their skills within continuous learning approach. Therefore there is a need to innovate new techniques and strategies of skill development to develop human capital in SME's.
