Zone-based solah times depend on the Earth's orbital movement around the sun. JAKIM has introduced zone-based solah times prescribes the times for the zones or areas. Nevertheless, the on-site calculation of zonal solah times is often informed by geographical and state Islamic affairs administrations. This study aims to survey the practices and methods employed to determine the Malaysian states' zonal solah times, using library research and interview approaches. The findings indicated that two typical methods used are the Westernmost Point and Multipoint Reference. Another alternative method provided by Falak experts is Isotime. Each state in Malaysia interprets asnaf al gharimin differently due to the different ijtihad from the mufti. This study aims to analyze the application of asnaf al gharimin based on Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS). Qualitative method based on interview is used in this article and supported by library research. The finding shows that LZS has focused on four categories of debt to be given zakat aid in the types of asnaf gharimin, including medical/ dialysis treatment assistance, life necessities assistance, management of the corpse without the heir, and debt association due to public concern. Al-Istishraq is one of the subversive elements that have been corrupting Muslims into becoming radicalised, since the times of colonialism until present times. They denied the contribution of Islam in knowledge and civilizations resulting precedence in Muslim civilization becoming unclear. Al-Istishraq succeeds in misguiding and affecting integration among Muslims as Muslims blindly follow the ideologies. Prevention on such matter is challenging as scholars fail to provide comprehensive guidelines. The extremism numbers are alarming. It raises hatred and destruction of others. The population of food allergy sufferer world wide keep on increasing especially among children. Therefore, while the parent is working, this children is taken care by the nursery employees. Since there is no cure for food allergy, the nursery employees need to be knowledgeable to provide safe food and environment to them. For that reason, this study aims to determine the types of intervention that can help the nursery employees to improve their knowledge. Tourism is a sector that always has a dynamic movement which will benefit the local community. Lumban Suhi-suhi is a tourist village famous for its ulos on Samosir Island that has become one of the tourist attraction. Due to the limitations of facilities arrangement make it becomes less of the attraction itself. Therefore, the environment-based mechanism becomes one of the concepts that will be applied to improve the tourist facilities in which could increase tourists in that area. There is a close relationship between the creation of urban spaces and ergonomics. To make new stimulating and satisfying urban spaces, ergonomics criteria should consider. In this study, two main urban squares from Istanbul examined. Selected urban squares evaluated by site observation according to the classified ergonomics criteria. Strong and weak points of chosen squares discussed and some suggestions proposed. The results demonstrated the fact that urban equipment meets the individual ergonomic criteria are not sufficient in the use of both squares, and they need to be re-planned.Keywords: Ergomomics; urban squares, IstanbuleISSN: 2398-4287 © 2019. The back lane is often associated with annoying, disgusting, narrow and dark. This paper concerns the use of the back lanes of the old shop houses in China Town, Kuala Lumpur. The instruments used in collecting data include observation, unstructured interview and literature review. The use and physical characteristics of back lanes were identified. It was found that the back lanes of China Town in Kuala Lumpur showed the success of turning back streets into lively alleys. Malaysia is known for its multicultural diversity, which is heavily influenced by the ancient Malay culture, indigenous peoples and the cultures of Malaysia's second main ethnics groups - the Chinese and Indian. For centuries, our cultures have blended to create Malaysia's diverse heritage. Sadly, Malaysians are slowly losing their ancient culture due to modernisation. One particular culture of Malaysia that is close to extinction is the Peranakan culture. The researcher found it vital to implement our cultural motif into product design, so she has come out with a freestanding kitchen with an influence of the Peranakan motif. Both students and teachers are environmentally challenged. Teachers are not well-heeled to do everything including giving feedback to students. Writing is a challenging area in teaching ESL. It was said that giving written feedback to students’ writing is the most time consuming and challenging job (Ferris, 2007). This paper reports on a study designed to investigate and identify the benefits and the challenges of peer review, to investigate the influence of content and form based feedback to students writing. Previous studies have indicated that certain types of fragrance in the vehicle are useful in keeping the driver alert. This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of lavender or vanilla flavor fragrances toward driving performance. Ten human subjects were tested using the driving simulator in three different conditions; driving with vanilla, lavender flavor fragrance and driving without fragrance. A questionnaire was distributed to examine the emotion states of the driver after driving the simulator. Our results indicate that fragrance did not affect the speed reduction.
