The synthetic antiferromagnet [(Co0.88Fe0.12)/Cu]N which is planar composite with ~ 60 nm thickness was researched by the spin-wave resonance technique in all angles range of the applied constant magnetic field relative to normal to the film surface. Our researches demonstrate that studied multilayer film is magnetic superlattice the microwave spectrums of which demonstrate two different exchange-coupled magnetic systems. Every of these subsystems are showing itself as a series spin-wave modes on measured microwave spectrums. The dependence of magnitude of the propagation linear range of standing spin exchange wave on specimen orientation in applied magnetic field was discovered

Abstract The dynamics of magnetization is important in spintronics, where the coupling between phonon and magnon attracts much attention. In this work, we study the angular dependence of the coupling between longitudinal-wave phonon and magnon. We investigated the magnetization dynamics using the time-resolved magneto-optical Kerr effect, which allows measuring spin-wave resonances and the magnetic echo signal. The frequency, mode number, and amplitude of the spin-wave resonance change with the out-of-plane angle of the external magnetic field. The amplitude of the magnetic echo signal caused by the strain pulse also changes with the angle. We calculate these angular dependences based on the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation and find that the angles of the external field and magnetic moment are important factors for the phonon-magnon coupling when phonon propagates in the thickness direction under the out-of-plane magnetic field.

For the first time characteristic modification of a spectrum of the exchange spin waves, caused by the first stop-band at a wave vector kb=π/(d1+d2) the magnon crystal formed by one-dimensional modulation of the exchange or magnetization has been found by the spin-wave resonance (SWR) technique in multilayer structures “ferromagnet/ferromagnet” with N(d1+d2) thickness. It is shown that at transformation of a multilayer film after thermal annealing in a film of a single-phase alloy the given modification of a spectrum disappears.
