Cold rolled steel industry in type of batch annealing furnace, the mechanical properties of steel sheet have variation by each position. The parameters of annealing temperature and time were analysed to work out the source of mechanical properties variation. This experiment is using low-carbon steel sheet that were cold rolled at the same reduction ratio. Then annealed applying by different annealing temperature and soaking time in laboratory furnace. The mechanical properties which were examined. Yield strength, Tensile strength, %Elongation and Hardness. The result showed that (1) Increasing the annealing temperature could remarkably decrease the yield strength, tensile strength and hardness, whereas the %Elongation could be increased. (2) Increasing the soaking time could slightly effect on mechanical properties. (3) The annealing temperature of 650°C with soaking time of 2 hr should be applied to provide the mechanical properties close to target value (4) Grain size of the workpieces trended to be grown from the annealing temperature of 610°C.The experiment it can be concluded that annealing temperature and soaking time have significant effect on the mechanical properties variation in batch annealing.

In this item, the low carbon steel hot sheets by compact strip production (CSP) technology were cold rolled and annealed in laboratory. texture evolution during the production process of CSP-cold rolled strip were investigated by means of the XRD. The results were as follows: After hot deformation of thin slab formed a strong γ- fibre orientation texture, the density of texture increase with the cold rolled reduction increased, especially for the negative texture {100}, in γ-fibre orientation cold rolling texture density has no significant change. Compared to the traditional process, hot rolled steel sheet has higher texture, cold-rolled steel sheet has the same texture, and after-annealing sheet has further higher texture in the CSP-cold rolling process. This study enables better understanding and control on the evolution of textures the cold-rolled steel sheet processed by CSP technique and provides theory support for exploiting the CSP the cold-rolling deep drawing steel sheet

This study simulated Bell-type annealing technology under laboratory conditions, and researched the effect of annealing time on the mechanical properties of SPCC cold-rolled steel sheet. The results indicate that the yield strength decreased with the extending of time; the plastic strain increases with the elongation of annealing time till a given time, and then decreased with the time extending; the cold-rolled specimen brittle fractured in tension while the annealed specimen shear fractured. Key words: microstructure mechanical properties Bell-type annealing SPCC cold-rolled steel sheet
