Learning media is one important factor in achieving learning objectives. Proper learning media can increase student interest in learning so that learning can take place optimally. Basic Graphic Design subjects is one of the subjects for class X vocational IT which consists of design theory and practice. Interactive learning media is needed to support the learning process. The solution offered is an interactive learning media based on Android. The application development method is prototyping. The final project is designed in the form of an android-based interactive learning media application that students can benefit anytime and anywhere. In the application there are several main menus including the kd1, kd2, kd3 menus, application guides, and about applications. With this application it is hoped that it can improve student understanding in learning Basic Graphic Design. Keywords: Android, Media, Design, Interactive

It is now an accepted maxim in design theory and practice that real-world problems needing the attention of design practitioners are not neat and well-structured, but ill-structured and “wicked”—part of a larger, complex social situation. For design education, then, to take its lead from contemporary social, political and economic structures, it will have to seriously re-think its problem-solving paradigms. The authors investigate the use of self-generating learning narratives in the classroom and contrast the approach they introduce with the still-too-prevalent notion that knowledge can be transferred from teacher to student. Their methodology draws from ideas formulated by Maturana and Varela on autopoiesis, specifically the notion of co-ontogenic drift.

Nowadays, the application of information systems can be applied in many fields, one of which is to support the process of adopting dog as a pet. The purpose of this research therefore is to develop an integrated information system that can be used to facilitate the process of adopting dogs. The developed information system which is web-based has several main functions, such as searching for dogs, managing adoption requests, monitoring dogs that have been adopted, and periodically managing user reports. The proposed system was developed using Rapid Application Development method, PHP programming language, Code Igniter frameworks, and MySQL database. Meanwhile, the system was tested using the black box testing method.

Arrobbany English Courses is an institutions which have only a single manager and tutor in guiding 67 students consisting of students from primary and secondary school level. In teaching and learning tutor often have difficulty in establishing a nice environment for some students would rather play than on learning. This causes the limited learning topic that can be delivered to students tutor each meeting. Therefore, it needs the right solution and does not incur costs to add a tutor or a native speaker, using a medium of learning. One of the media to learn the most widely used today is the computer as a proven way to speed up the delivery of learning topic and increase student interest. In this study Aplikasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Ingris is built to help tutor show the right pronoun to the students. Sound of pronoun will sounded  when the picture clicked. There are seven learning menus in this application. Application development using Greenfoot with object-oriented programming concepts. Method development using SDLC, UML design and testing method using the Black-box testing. English Language Learning application is compiled into .jar extensions which can be run on the Windows operating system which have been installed JDK. Based on testing to 23 students indicates that the Aplikasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Ingris is exciting, produce the proper sound, and can replace the native speaker. The result of the assessment shows that average percentage are more than 82%.

Given recent corporate scandals, the credibility of the accounting profession has been called into question. In order to restore public trust, accounting educators need to devise ways to convey the importance of ethics in our profession to our students. An alternative approach to using a traditional lecture to teach ethics is to use games. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a game strategy to teach ethics and professionalism to students. Using games makes learning more fun and also helps to maintain student interest and involvement in the learning process. Student feedback has been positive and encouraging on the use of this format to teach ethics and professional responsibilities.
