Given recent corporate scandals, the credibility of the accounting profession has been called into question. In order to restore public trust, accounting educators need to devise ways to convey the importance of ethics in our profession to our students. An alternative approach to using a traditional lecture to teach ethics is to use games. The purpose of this paper is to introduce a game strategy to teach ethics and professionalism to students. Using games makes learning more fun and also helps to maintain student interest and involvement in the learning process. Student feedback has been positive and encouraging on the use of this format to teach ethics and professional responsibilities.

Following collaboration between two chemistry lecturers and an academic developer an attempt was made to enhance the learning of students within a chemistry module through the adaptation of the delivery of content material. This paper reports a piece of practitioner led research which considered how effective the approach developed was upon the level of student understanding and the process through which this occurred. The module delivery was altered from an emphasis on the transmission of knowledge through a traditional lecture format, to rotating small group problem based sessions and the use of concept maps. Student feedback and higher grades achieved appear to demonstrate it was effective.

This study aims as a way to determine the effect of the recitation method on learning outcomes of events in life that focuses on sub-theme 2 national events about the proclamation of independence day at SDN Gongseng 1 Jombang. As we know that the average learning process in schools is still centered on the teacher himself. By using the right application, it is certain that it will have a good impact on the quality of education. The lack of student interest in the methods taught by the teacher had a significant impact. In the process of working on questions, for example, students are less able to understand what is conveyed by the teacher who is able to provide a learning process whose substance is carried out by selecting the appropriate method. This research is pre-experimental research design, in the form of one-group pretest-posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 9 boys and 10 girls totaling 19 students who were in the experimental class. In the academic year 2021, it can be seen that the results of the pretest and posttest data of students by using the recitation method have sig. 0.000 < 0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that the effect of recitation has an influence on classroom learning by using conventional methods.

Everything that can be used to stimulate the thoughts, feelings, attention and abilities or skills of students so as to encourage the learning process. This limitation is quite broad and includes the understanding of resources, environment, people and methods used for learning / training purposes. Barriers to the use of teaching aids in supporting student interest in learning, obstacles include: conditioning students' attention to learning with teaching aids, teacher learning methods that tend to be less varied so that students are less enthusiastic in learning if the teacher is monotonous, the teaching aids available in schools are incomplete, making teaching aids in accordance with the material and student input is difficult, the minimum time to prepare learning with teaching aids.

Currently, Covid-19 is a hot topic of conversation in all countries, including Indonesia. In Indonesia itself, a Large-Scale Social Restriction (PSBB) policy was implemented to suppress the spread of this virus so that all activities carried out outside the home must be stopped until this pandemic has subsided. The imposition of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) made the learning system change from a classical system to a Distance Learning (PJJ) or online system. In the Introduction to Management course, student participation was found to be low during the learning process. Lecturers have difficulty determining whether students take learning seriously or not. Often in distance learning, some students deliberately put up a video that has been recorded, so that it seems like they are following the learning process, but in reality, they are doing something else. This is caused by several factors, including media which can be in the form of video lessons and student interest in learning. Looking at the description above, researchers are interested in conducting research that aims to determine the effect of using video learning and learning interest on learning outcomes in the Management Introduction course in the distance learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted in the D3 Transportation Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, the State University of Jakarta in semester 113 of the 2020/2021 school year. This research is an ex post facto research with a quantitative approach. The number of samples in this study consisted of 76 students. The data collection technique is done by using questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using a multiple regression test. The results of this study indicate that Fcount ≥ Ftable = 13.53 ≥ 3.124 so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the use of instructional videos (X1) and interest (X2) on learning outcomes in the Introduction to Management (Y) course. For this reason, the role of lecturers is indispensable in continuously making creative innovations in developing various kinds of learning media that can increase student interest in learning during the Covid 19 pandemic.

The essence of academic supervision is not only assessing the performance of teachers in managing the learning process, but also helping teachers develop their professional skills. This study aims to describe the improvement of the quality of learning through academic supervision. The application of academic supervision is used to improve the quality of student learning, student interest in learning, and the ability of teachers to manage the implementation of learning so that it is in accordance with predetermined standards. This research is in the form of School Action Research using descriptive methods, using percentage techniques to see the increase that occurs from cycle to cycle. By implementing academic supervision, continuous guidance can increase teacher motivation in arranging teaching administration and can increase teacher competence in preparing lesson plans which in turn improve the quality of learning.

This article presents a view of the effectiveness of teaching and learning systems by focusing on how courses using ICT can be designed based on educational theories and evaluated using student feedback. This study analyzes a distance learning project in which Thai and Japanese (grade 10) students studied how to use MX Flash software for the creation of animations. In designing the course prior to implementation, the theoretical framework was examined and the Constructivism theory and the Bloom’s taxonomy were adopted. From these perspectives, effective learning-teaching methods are determined by course content, conditions of teaching processes, and media usage. The teaching processes were classified with the following three stages determined: (1) traditional lecture; (2) self-learning; and (3) collaborative learning. At the end of each class, the students were asked to respond to the course evaluation related to following the three domains: (1) comprehension; (2) cognitive load; and (3) motivation. These evaluations by the students were fully utilized in a regression analysis which examined whether the course design was appropriate for student understanding.

Increasing enrollments in such survey courses as Introductory Psychology create special problems for the instructor interested in alternatives to traditional lecture methods. Although in-class demonstrations have been used to maintain student interest and increase the retention of information in large classroom environments, physiological psychology has been largely overlooked in terms of instructional innovation. This article provides detailed instructions concerning how to teach neuron anatomy and physiology via a /2-hour dramatic presentation involving 30 student volunteers. Data are presented to support the perceived educational and entertainment value of this active teaching method.
