"Initiative Program for Digitalization of Photographic Plate Archives at the Central Research Institute of Film Materials and Artificial Leathers [1960th – 1980th]": Инициативный проект по оцифровке фотопластинок (микроскопии и электронографии) прекратившего своё существование института. Данные материалы (характеризующие факт прекращения деятельности института, а также работы, потерявшие актуальность в связи с этим) получены на стадии утилизации оборудования и были оцифрованы в рамках благотворительной программы оцифровки и реставрации научного наследия, инициированной при группе биофизического приборостроения Адамовичем Е.Д. и руководителем группы. В рамках данного тренда OCR станция на оборудовании для оцифровки слайдов и микрофишей произвела экспресс-сканирование этих пластинок и устаревших фотоэмульсионных носителей низкой светочувствительности по ГОСТ. Реставрация и ввод в научно-архивный цикл осуществлены через БД, локализованную на зарубежных серверах, в частности - IЕEЕ, допускающих депонирование результатов НИР. В настоящее время проект приостановлен в силу COVID и кадрового дефицита в коллективе инициаторов.

The experiment herein described was undertaken at the Central Research Institute, Kasauli, India. It commenced on September 6, 1913, and terminated, owing to my recall to military duty for active service, on December 24, 1914. Having been on service for the past 18 months I have not hitherto had an opportunity to report it. Object of the Experiment . Its object was to determine the cause of congenital goitre and the conditions under which it developed in large animals, and to confirm and amplify the results I had obtained by previous experimentation on white rats.

An interim high-temperature flaw assessment procedure is described. This is a result of a collaborative effort between Electric Power Research Institute in the US, Central Research Institute of Electric Power Industry in Japan, and Nuclear Electric plc in the UK. The procedure addresses pre-existing defects subject to creep-fatigue loading conditions. Laws employed to calculate the crack growth per cycle are defined in terms of fracture mechanics parameters and constants related to the component material. The crack growth laws may be integrated to calculate the remaining life of a component or to predict the amount of crack extension in a given period. Fatigue and creep crack growth per cycle are calculated separately, and the total crack extension is taken as the simple sum of the two contributions. An interaction between the two propagation modes is accounted for in the material properties in the separate calculations. In producing the procedure, limitations of the approach have been identified. Some of these limitations are to be addressed in an extension of the current collaborative program.

The directions for the development of the enterprise digital environment are considered, and the ways to improve the professional competences of the enterprise staff, including the digital aspect, have been analysed. A questionnaire survey of the personnel of the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering in 2019 and 2020 using the methodology “Assessment of personnel capability (Manageability Assessment)” revealed the problems determined by the digital transformation process. Significant components for staff have been identified, including clarity of understanding of their place in the project, appreciation of task setting, staff focus on the overall end result, and functional interpersonal interaction. In analysing levels of manageability levels, the influence on the staff labor activity the factors such as remuneration, social and living conditions in the enterprise, ergonomic conditions at the workplace, interpersonal horizontal and vertical relationships in the team, and social effectiveness of management, have been studied. The findings provide the basis for practical recommendations to Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering management on changing the enterprise organisational culture to activate the staff labor potential. This solved the problems identified, improving the efficiency of staff working remotely in a pandemic and the manageability of staff across the enterprise as a whole.
