Statistical process control (SPC) can help manufacturers improve the quality of their products. This paper describes a relatively simple and effective method and algorithm to adjust the accuracy of parts produced on CNC machine tools using the methods of statistical process control. Examined the possibilities of the proposed method by computer simulation of the process. By using the proposed algorithm scattering of size is placed in the middle of the tolerance zone. Various variants carrying out the method are proposed adequate on the machining time during processing details in the sample. This can optimize the total time for processing of the batch.

Abstract Project 70 stainless type 303 and Project 7000 stainless type 303 are free-machining stainless steels of the austenitic chromium-nickel type. They offer significantly improved machinability and longer tool life. These steels are suited particularly for automatic bar-machine and Swiss-type machine operations where longer tool life results in more productive machining time. Applications include shafts, valve bodies, valves, valve trim, and fittings. Durch zunehmende Vernetzung und Digitalisierung von Werkzeugmaschinen und Automatisierungskomponenten ergibt sich die Möglichkeit, Signale mit hohen Datenraten und großer Vielfalt aufzuzeichnen. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt erste Untersuchungen zur Realisierbarkeit einer prozessparallelen Detektion von Bauteilfehlern auf Basis interner Werkzeugmaschinendaten. Dabei werden Potenziale und Grenzen für diesen neuartigen Ansatz zur hauptzeitparallelen Qualitätssicherung aufgezeigt.   The increasing networking and digitization of machine tools and automation components provides the opportunity to record signals with high data rates and great diversity. This paper describes first investigations on the feasibility of a process-parallel detection of component defects on the basis of internal machine tool data. Potentials and limits for this novel approach to quality assurance parallel to machining time are presented.
