Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) play a key role in improving the performance of automated manufacturing systems, warehouses, and distribution centers. In the modern manufacturing industry, the term (AS/RS) refers to various methods under computer control for storing and retrieving loads automatically from defined storage locations. Using an (AS/RS) is not considered a value-added activity. Therefore, the longer (AS/RS) travels, the more expensive the warehousing process becomes. This paper presents an algorithm for minimizing total travel distance/time between input/output (I/O) stations. The proposed algorithm is used to manage the storage and retrieval orders on warehouse shelves in class-based storage on the storage racks. It contains two steps: the first step is to evacuate some storage compartments (locations) near the I/O station; in the second step, some tote bins are reallocated to compartments closer to the I/O station. Among the features of this algorithm are mechanisms that determine the number of reallocated tote bins, which tote bins to reallocate, and in which direction (toward the I/O station or away from it). A simulation model using R software developed specifically for this purpose was used to validate the suggested method. Based on the results, the new method can reduce the service time per order by about 10% to 20%, depending on parameters like the number of orders and the height of the storage rack.

Computers have become popular in recent years. The forms of human-computer interaction are increasingly diverse. In many cases, controlling the computer is not only through the mouse and keyboard, but humans must control the computer through body language and representation. For some people with physical disabilities, controlling the computer through hand movements is essential to help them interact with the computer. The field of simulation also needs these interactive applications. This paper studies a solution to build a hand tracking and gesture recognition system that allows cursor movement and corresponding actions with mouse and keyboard. The research team confirms that the system works stably, accurately and can control the computer instead of a conventional mouse and keyboard through the implementation and evaluation.

The possibility of creating a computer control system for an unmanned aerial vehicle using remote cloud computing according to predefined scenarios from the user's desktop is investigated. For this, an experimental setup was created, which includes a quadcopter, a personal computer with the Windows operating system, an on-board computer Raspberry-3 with the Linux operating system, a Pi Camera V2 camcorder, and a Pixhawk autopilot. To model the control and transmission of video images the own control programs and photo pursuit on a computer Raspberry-3 in Python are recorded. Based on the obtained results, a model of unmanned aerial vehicle control from the desktop of the user's personal computer via the on-board computer without the use of a standard control panel and operator is proposed.

Against the background of the growing development of the Internet of Things, this article conducts research on more efficient methods for controlling the interconnection of all things, and proposes that smart devices use the same operating platform, and the human-computer interface presents universal modular controls for manipulation, it can satisfy the requirement that one device controls several different types of controlled device simultaneously. At the same time, the interactive method uses the controlled device to actively submit control content to the control device, and discusses the human-computer interactive control method applicable to the Internet of Everything, and strives to achieve a convenient and easy-to-use human-computer control experience.

The upper computer communication operation state automatic monitoring system is mainly used to remotely monitor the equipment, obtain various parameter indexes in the operation process of remote equipment, realize remote monitoring and fault diagnosis, and improve the management efficiency of decentralized equipment. This paper completes the design of communication, data storage, query, and other subsystems of upper and lower computers. The lower computer establishes a data channel with the OPC server through the MPI protocol and uploads the collected data to the OPC server in real time. The upper computer reads the data through the OPC server and displays the changes of monitored parameters in real time through the monitoring interface, so as to give an alarm under abnormal conditions. In addition, since the default database of Kingview is access, considering that the Microsoft Access database can store up to 2G of content, in order to upgrade and expand the subsequent system, SQL Server database is selected for data query, backup, and saving. The parameter setting method of communication control system is analyzed, the simulation model of industrial boiler control system is established by using Matlab/Simulink, and the interface between host computer software (IBCCS-e) and the model is provided. This paper analyzes the results of communication parameter adjustment. The simulation results show that the industrial boiler computer control system (IBCCS) has stable performance, low cost, convenient operation, and good maintainability. After further improvement, it has certain application value in the operation transformation of new small- and medium-sized boilers and original boilers.

Abstract Technology interventions can only be adequately assessed for efficacy if participants are adequately trained to use the technology. Only then can an evaluation be made about whether the technology intervention affects the outcome of interest. In the PRISM study, our goal was to teach inexperienced older adults to use either a tablet computer (control) or the PRISM 2.0 system. In this presentation we will discuss the training processes we used for both groups (e.g., segmenting sessions, providing homework, observations), to enable us to evaluate the relative benefits of PRISM for social connectedness. We will describe the training challenges and the need for assessors to be able to troubleshoot technology issues. We will evaluate individual differences in training success and drop-outs to provide insights for other technology intervention studies. Understanding these individual differences can provide guidance for the deployment of new technologies that may benefit health, social interaction, or cognitive engagement.

Abstract The mechanical design amelioration of automatic production line can intelligently adjust the production rhythm of the production line on demand, control the rhythm of production scheduling according to the production process requirements, and establish a modular design mode, so it has important research value. Based on this, this paper first analyses the mechanical design principle of the automatic production line, then studies the computer control system of the automatic production line, and finally gives the amelioration measures of the mechanical design of the automatic production line.

Using a database containing audio files of respiratory sound records of asthmatic patients and healthy patients, a method of computer-aided diagnostics based on the machine learning technique creation of neural networks, has been developed. The database contains 952 records of respiratory sounds of asthma patients at different stages of the disease, aged from several months to 47 years, and 167 records of volunteers. Records were carried out with a quiet breathing at four points: in the oral cavity, above the trachea, on the chest, the second intercostal space on the right side, and at a point on the back. The developed method of computer-aided diagnostics allows diagnosing bronchial asthma with high reliability: sensitivity of 89.3%, specificity of 86%, accuracy of about 88% and Youden index of 0.753. The program learned once makes it possible to diagnose bronchial asthma with high reliability regardless of patient's gender and age, a stage of disease, as well as the point of sound recording. The developed method can be used as an additional screening method for the diagnostics of bronchial asthma and serve as the basis for development of computer control methods, including remote control (telemedicine) of patients condition and the effectiveness of the applied drugs in real time.

In order to solve the problems of low efficiency of management information systems and low utilization rate of the information resources, this research paper proposes the designs of an exhibition management information system by using a B/S structure (Browser/Server mode). The proposed system is aimed at the analysis of functions and types of exhibitions. The system is comprised of the following three components: the browser-side, server-side, and middle layer. Among them, the browser includes a user management module and exhibition environment visualization module. The server includes an upper computer control module and human-computer interaction module. The middle layer includes the data resource management module, document information management module, exhibition project audit approval and management module, and information scheduling module. Experimental results show that the lowest management efficiency of the system is 96.19%, the highest can reach 98.39%, and the utilization rate of information resources is above 94%, indicating that the system has achieved the design expectation.
