Anomalous cusps which frequently appear at the high frequency end of ionosonde records of the F2. region are explained as the result of modification of the ion distribution during the passage of typical travelling disturbances. They indicate the presence, not of vertical stratification but of horizontal gradients of ionization causing oblique reflection. It is suggested that other anomalous cusps are of similar origin.

At present the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) technique has been widely used in the variable frequency control system, but the technique will make the system produce higher harmonic components at the switching frequency integer multiple times, thus the harmonic produce the high frequency noise. In the face of this problem, this paper adopts double random SVPWM technique which is added two state Markov chain to effectively reduce the high frequency noise. The technique makes the harmonic components amplitude value of the output current reduced effectively in the inverter of the variable frequency control system,so that the more output current is more relatively evenly distributed in the wide frequency range,so as to minimize the electromagnetic noise.

The short-circuit test is an important topic on the study of transformer features. With the shunt capacitor paralleled to the tested transformer, the test current can be reduced by the resonant of the capacitor and the inductance of transformer winding. Furthermore, using the high frequency power supply, the capacitor can be reduced in the resonant point because the high frequency values. In this work, the simulation model of short-circuit test of transformer with different frequency power supply is designed. Under variable frequency power supply, which are 50Hz,100Hz and 150Hz, the shunt capacitors value is given. From the simulation results, the application of the shunt capacitor takes a role in the short-circuit test of transformer. This has a significance role in transformer test research and engineering application field.

In the paper, the three-phase ac motor is used as the controlled station and the FPGA device EP1C3T144C8 is adopted as the control core. Aiming at the flexibility of the variable frequency system based on SPWM, the DDS technique is introduced. The process of speed adjustment is conducted by AC motor by the three-phase supply with tunable frequency generated by inverter switch device based on SPWM signal. With rational structure and simplified design, this project can generate stable SPWM signal, high frequency resolution and fast switching speed.
