The digital transformation of manufacturing industry accelerates the collaborative innovation of multi-agent value co-creation, which makes the influence of subject heterogeneity on the innovation performance in digital innovation become a focus issue in both theory and practice. This paper builds a conceptual model of subject heterogeneity in digital collaborative innovation influence on the innovation performance from target heterogeneity, knowledge heterogeneity and organization heterogeneity three dimensions, which based on the perspective of the behavior subjects in manufacturing digital innovation of value co-creation. Then we deeply explore the influence mechanism between the heterogeneous cooperative innovation behavior of heterogeneous value subject and the innovation performance in digital innovation. The research results are helpful to realize higher quality digital cooperation among manufacturing enterprises, promote the coordinated development of digital value chain, and improve the digital innovation performance.

The degree of coupling and coordination between the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and the medical service industry crucially requires improvement by promoting the development of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry through industrial structure upgrading to narrow the gap between them. First, this article uses the coupling coordination degree model to measure the coupling coordination degree of the Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and medical service industry; then, it theoretically analyzes the mechanism through which upgrading the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry's industrial structure can improve the coupling coordination degree. Finally, we empirically test the impact of upgrading the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry's industrial structure on the coupling and coordination degree between it and the medical service industry. The main conclusions are as follows: (1). The quantile regression model shows that having an advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing industry positively affects its coupling and coordination with the medical service industry; (2). A threshold regression model is tested, and it is found that only when the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry reaches an advanced level can it significantly promote joint and coordinated development with the medical service industry; (3). Rationalizing the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry structure will inhibit a high level of coordination between it and the medical service industry and their coordinated development.

In order to explore the impact of environmental regulation on the coordinated development of energy and the environment with the background of governance transition, we propose a three-stage integrated approach and use the panel data of China’s manufacturing industry 27 sub-sectors during the period of 2006–2015. In the first stage, according to the environmental pollution intensity, the manufacturing industry is divided into heavily polluting industry, moderately polluting industry, and lightly polluting industry. The second stage is employed the slacks-based measure (SBM)-undesirable method to study the sub-industries’ green energy-environmental efficiency under different environmental pollution intensities. Besides, the dynamic changes of technical innovation and efficiency among different industries are analyzed through the Malmquist productivity index. For the purpose of investigating the transmission mechanism of the Porter’s hypothesis and exploring the compound effects of environmental regulation and governance transition on green development, in the third stage, we use the panel data analysis to conduct more in-depth research on the relationship between environmental regulation, governance transition, and technical innovation. Results show that the highest average green energy-environmental efficiency is lightly polluting industry, which is 0.52, followed by the heavily polluting industry at 0.40, and the lowest is the moderately polluting industry, which is 0.32. By decomposing total factor productivity, heavily polluting industry is at the forefront of technical innovation. Panel data analysis results indicate that investment in research and development and governance transition could promote the growth of total factor productivity for manufacturing.
