Preference is subjective taste of individual for product or service. Preference becomes one of the determinant factors for consumption level of a product, includes rice. Rice consumption level is also impacted by difference in the level of consumer income. This study aims to analyze the preferences of rice consumers at Krian Market, Sidoarjo Regency.  This study was conducted at Krian Market, Sidoarjo Regency, using a method of non-probability sampling through accidental sampling by 50 respondents. The analysis tool was Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The result showed that the highest score of importance level is flea pests-free, clean, and fluffier. It means that rice consumer preferences at Krian Market where rice that flea pests-free, clean, and fluffier.Keywords: Preferences and Rice Consumer.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perbandingan kualitas pelayanan bank konvensional dan bank syariah dinyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan atara nilai rata-rata kualitas pelayanan pada bank konvensional dengan bank syariah, dimana nilai rata-rata kualitas pelayanan bank konvensional lebih tinggi dibandingkan bank syariah dan berdasarkan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh Market Research Indonesia (MRI)terdapat 5 bank syariah peraih penghargaan Banking Service Excellence Awards dan BNI Syariah merupakan bank kedua yang meraih penghargaan dari Banking ServiceExcellence Awards dimana penilaian yang dinilai dari penentuan peringkat ini yaitu dengan pengukuran aspek kinerja dari staff, satpam, costumer service, dan teller. Sedangkan penilaian aspek fisik dinilai dari banking hall, kenyamanan, kinerja ATM, dan layanan e-channel (sms, mobile, internet banking).Paper ini menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pelanggan melalui kualitas pelayanan Bank BNI Syariah KCP. Ciputat. Ini menggunakan metode non  probability sampling. Tingkat kepuasan diukur dengan menggunakanImportance Performance Analysis (IPA)dan Costumers Statisfaction Index (CSI).Adapun responden pada penelitian ini adalah nasabah Bank BNI Syariah KCP. Ciputat yang pernah mendapatkan layanan pada Bank BNI Syariah KCP. Ciputat Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan puas dengan layanan  dari Bank BNI Syariah KCP. Ciputat dengan tingkat CSI sebesar 79,34%. Berdasarkan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), 5 atribut dikategorikan sebagai “prioritas perbaikan”, dan 13 atribut  dikategorikan sebagai “pertahankan prestasi”. Selanjutnya, ada 3 atribut yang dikategorikan “berlebihan” dan 9 atribut adalah sebagai “prioritas rendah”. Kemudian rata-rata nilai kesesuaian/selisih dari seluruh atribut pelayanan Bank Bank BNI Syariah KCP. Ciputat adalah minus 0,14.

Self-tuning physical database organization involves tools that determine automatically the best solution concerning partitioning, placement, creation and tuning of auxiliary structures (e.g. indexes), based on the workload. To the best of our knowledge, no tool has focused on a relevant issue in parallel databases and in particular data warehouses running on common off-the-shelf hardware in a sharednothing configuration: determining the adequate tradeoff for balancing load and availability with costs (storage and loading costs). In previous work, we argued that effective load and availability balancing over partitioned datasets can be obtained through chunk-wise placement and replication, together with on-demand processing. In this work, we propose ChunkSim, a simulator for system size planning, performance analysis against replication degree and availability analysis. We apply the tool to illustrate the kind of results that can be obtained by it. The whole discussion in the chapter provides very important insight into data allocation and query processing over shared-nothing data warehouses and how a good simulation analysis tool can be built to predict and analyze actual systems and intended deployments.
