Therefore, we defined the objective of our research: to study the factors of uterine cervix tissue im- munity for women with Chlamydia infection and to estimate the effect of low-intensity laser therapy (LILT) on these factors due to a wavelength of 632 nm and a power of 30 mW. Materials and methods. Clinical immunologic studies of cervical secretion were carried out on 184 women of reproductive age 25,9 ± 4,22 in 2016–2018. Chlamydia infection Chlamydia trachomatis was found by the methods of real-time polymerase chain reaction (Rt-PCR) tests. Code by Classifier of the International Standard Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision is А 56.0, Chlamydial infections of the lower sections of the urogenital tract. Urethra and canalis cervicis uteri scrapings were used as the material for detecting C. trachomatis. All patients with chlamydial infection of the lower part of the urogenital system were divided into two groups: a group of 100 women who were treated by using the local influence of the low-intensity laser of 632 nm as a part of complex treatment, the comparison group (basic treatment) consisted of 84 women who took azithromycin of 1 g once a day for the 1st, 5th, 10th days of treatment. 50 healthy women without any pathology and infections of the genitourinary system made the control group. A system of cytokines was studied by interleukin's level IL-8. IL-1 α, IL-1 β, TNF-α and IFN-γ content in cervical mucus. Results Course. The results of the study showed a high clinical and immunological efficacy of treating chlamydial cervicitis using a low intensity laser with a wavelength of 632 nm. An imbalance of cellular factors of innate immunity revealed before starting a therapy: a decrease in the oxygen-dependent metabolism of neutrophilic granulocytes of the cervical secretion.

Low-intensity laser therapy aims at pain suppression, edema reduction and acceleration of wound healing. The main goal of this study was to clinically evaluate the effects of Aluminum Gallium Arsenate laser - 670nm in wound healing after gingivoplasty in 11 patients. Surgery was performed in anterior superior and/or inferior regions. The right side of the patient (test group) received a laser energy density of 4J/cm², in a 48-hour interval, during one week, totalizing four sessions. The irradiation was punctual in a contact mode in three points. The left side did not receive irradiation (control group). Clinical evaluation was performed by five specialists in periodontology through photography of the treated areas at post-surgical periods of 7, 15, 21,30,60 days. The observers pointed the best healed side. The Sign test was used for statistical analysis with a confidence level of 5% (P<0.05). The examiners found a better pattern of healing sometimes in the test and sometimes in the control group until 21 days after surgery. After this period there was no apparent difference between them. There was no statistical difference between the sides (p>0.05). These results have shown that low-intensity laser therapy did not accelerate oral mucosa healing after gingivoplasty.

Purpose: Analyze the influence of low-intensity laser therapy in the sciatic nerve regeneration of rats submitted to controlled crush through histological analysis. Methods: Were used 20 Wistar rats, to analyze the influence of low-intensity laser therapy in the sciatic nerve regeneration, where the injury of the type axonotmesis was induced by a haemostatic clamp Crile (2nd level of the rack). The animals were randomly distributed in 2 groups. Control group (CG n = 10) and Laser group (LG n = 10). These were subdivided in 2 subgroups each, according to the euthanasia period: (CG14 _ n = 5 and CG21 _ n = 5) and (LG14 _ n = 5 and LG21 _ n = 5). At the end of treatment, the samples were removed and prepared for histological analysis, where were analyzed and quantified the following findings: Schwann cells, myelinic axons with large diameter and neurons. Results: In the groups submitted to low-intensity laser therapy, were observed an increase in the number of all analyzed aspects with significance level. Conclusion: The irradiation with low intensity laser (904nm) influenced positively the regeneration of the sciatic nerve in Wistar rats after being injured by crush (axonotmesis), becoming the nerve recovery more rapid and efficient.

OBJECTIVE: to compare the effects of low intensity laser therapy on in vitro bacterial growth and in vivo in infected wounds, and to analyze the effectiveness of the AsGa Laser technology in in vivo wound infections. METHODS: in vitro: Staphylococcus aureus were incubated on blood agar plates, half of them being irradiated with 904 nm wavelength laser and dose of 3J/cm2 daily for seven days. In vivo: 32 male Wistar rats were divided into control group (uninfected) and Experimental Group (Infected). Half of the animals had their wounds irradiated. RESULTS: in vitro: there was no statistically significant variation between the experimental groups as for the source plates and the derived ones (p>0.05). In vivo: there was a significant increase in the deposition of type I and III collagen in the wounds of the infected and irradiated animals when assessed on the fourth day of the experiment (p=0.034). CONCLUSION: low-intensity Laser Therapy applied with a wavelength of 904nm and dose 3J/cm2 did not alter the in vitro growth of S. aureus in experimental groups; in vivo, however, it showed significant increase in the deposition of type I and III collagen in the wound of infected and irradiated animals on the fourth day of the experiment.

A clinical and immunological examination of 140 women with verified cipher B 37.3-inflammatory disease caused by yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida, characterized by the presence of 4 or more episodes during the year, is carried out. Before the start of therapy, an imbalance of cellular and humoral factors of innate immunity, the content of cytokines in the vaginal secretion, was detected. The optical radiation of a low-intensity laser was included in the scheme of therapeutic measures, starting from the first day of treatment. The results of the study demonstrate that local exposure on the vulva and vagina with laser radiation with a wavelength of 635 nm, with the power of 5 mW, for 10 minutes per area for a 10-day period reliably reduce the severity of objective and subjective symptoms of vaginal candidiasis, reduce the number of relapses, forming a long interrecurrent period, and normalizes the state of factors of local antimicrobial protection on the surface of the mucous membranes of the lower part of the urogenital system.
