Kondisi New Normal di Indonesia menyebabkan metode pembelajaran berubah dari secara konvensional menjadi digital. Walaupun efektif untuk mengatasi terhentinya pembelajaran, namun demikian belum tersedia fasilitas untuk pelaksanaan praktek oleh siswa secara jarak jauh. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka diperlukan suatu metode agar siswa di remote area tetap dapat melakukan praktek dengan cara mengakses peralatan di laboratorium UPDL Semarang. Berdasarkan penelusuran di dunia praktis ditemukan adanya metode Virtual Network Computing yang memungkinkan client di remote area dapat mengakses secara jarak jauh dengan berbagai karakteristiknya. Bahkan pada operating system Solaris 10, yang merupakan operating system server SCADA, memiliki kemampuan untuk akses secara multichannel hingga 15 channel pada satu server. Dari hasil percobaan yang dilakukan, akses client dari remote area terhadap 15 channel VNC secara bersamaan berjalan dengan baik, dibuktikan dengan tampilan GUI SCADA yang tetap normal, semua client dapat bekerja pada server SCADA tanpa ada interupsi antara satu client dengan client yang lain, dan tidak terjadinya penurunan kinerja server SCADA secara signifikan. Dengan demikian metode praktek jarak jauh menggunakan multichannel VNC ini dapat diterapkan sebagai solusi pembelajaran praktek operasi dan pemeliharaan master station SCADA di UPDL Semarang, dan dapat dikembangkan secara korporat di PT PLN (Persero).

Based on the basic knowledge of ontology and protégé, and the deficiency of semantic expression in the IEC61850 and IEC61970 Standard, this paper puts forward a mapping method from SCL to CIM, adopting Web Ontology Language OWL to build the semantic information model of SCL and CIM of substation knowledge ontology. In substation model, this mapping method could solve the problem of information sharing and interoperation between digitized substation and dispatch master station, and lay a foundation for further research on fusion of the two standards.

A calculating method for the fault detection and exclusion (FDE) played a very important role in the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). When the WAAS was not available, the algorithm of the FDE could provide the monitoring information for the navigation position solution. Moreover it could autonomously provide the integrity monitoring for the position solution in the complicated situation. It had a capability to detect and prevent a positioning failure which affected the navigation. The goal of the work presented in this paper was to develop an appropriately optimum evaluation of estimation methodology for assessing the integrity risk in the WAAS, which was that the Chebyshev law of large number combined with the Kalman filter. The algorithm could provide more precise integrity parameters of the satellite ephemeris error and clock error, which the method is more suitable at the master station for engineering application about the satellite.
