This research was aimed to develop Hypermedia as an alternative learning resources that support self-regulated learning implementation for English Debating Training in Highschool. The product was developed by the framework of web-based learning environment development model. To ensure the effectivity of the product, hypermedia was tested on formative and sumative evaluation involving expert, teacher, and students as participants. At the end of the study, the product was found effective which is indicated by (1) 80% of students often use this hypermedia at their home as self-regulated learning resources, (2) the improvement of students debating knowledge which indicated by the improvement test result by 3.3 poin, and (3) outstanding the students’ achievement of debating competencies that 50% of the students have above average debating skills after learning with hypermedia “Enjoy Your Debate!”

Web-based learning has been widely used as learning resources. Developing these learning resources is believed to provide beneficial for students. Therefore, this research was aimed to develop a web-based learning source for General Biology Course. It was developed by Joomla software version 1.5.6. This program was run and supported by Xampp version 1.6.1. in which Apache 2.2.4.. MySQL 5.0.37., and PHP version 5.2.1. were also included to offline program running support. The research was conducted on September – November 2012 in General Biology Course, Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Science, State University of Jakarta. Material contents developed in this web were limited to animal structure. Samples were consisted of students, media expert, and learning material expert. Data were obtained through questionnaires. According to students, the material classified as very good (82.5%), whether 5 five other components including content (79.48%), visual design (70.33%), structure and navigation (76.94%), and interaction (78.67%) were categorized as good. Based on media expert assessment, the web content was classified as very good (81.25%), while the other components including web material (75%), visual design (70%), structure and navigation (70.83%), and also interaction (80%) were categorized as good. Lastly, this product was assessed by the learning material expert who categorized good for the following components: web material (75%), content (78.13), visual design (75%), structure and navigation (79.19%). The only component which got fair score was interaction (50%). Although most of the components were classified as good, some aspects of this web must be repaired.

Recently, Web-based chemistry teaching is becoming a need as support materials for enrichment in chemistry instruction with a variety of learning resources.  The web-based teaching enables both teachers and students to collaborate to explore a variety of learning resources and to address issues of stochiometry through discussion forums both online and offline. This study aims to develop web based learning via web centric course at the stoichiometry topic, taking into account of the learning modalities. The subjects of research were 24 students of Senior high school class XA SMA Negeri Titian Teras Jambi. The results show that the web based model incresase student interest to learn to 27.01%. The tendency of students' interest in utilizing web is positively correlated with the achievement of learning, with a correlation value of 0.62. Thus chemistry instructional through web based learning with regard to learning modalities is effective to enhance students' interests and comprehension of stoichiometry
