A review of the diagnostic and treatment approaches to psychogenic seizures has been offered. Two case reports of psychogenic seizures precipitated by loss and associated with depressive symptomatology have been presented. A literature review of cases seems to substantiate the frequency for the association between the development of psychogenic seizures and loss/depressive symptomatology. Symptom relief can be achieved with the utilization of a crisis intervention style psychotherapy. Antidepressant medication may also have a useful role in the treatment of some psychogenic seizures.

Retroperitoneal haematoma is a rare clinical entity with variable etiology. It can happen spontaneously, without any obvious precipitating factors, the so-called spontaneous retroperitoneal haematoma. There is no general consensus as to the best management plan for patients with retroperitoneal haematoma. Polyarteritis nodosa (PAN) is a rare cause of retroperitoneal haematoma. Here we report relationship between PAN and retroperitoneal haematoma and treatment approaches. However, an accepted and clearly defined treatment has not been established due to its rarity.

The aim of this review is to evaluate emergencies and treatment approaches encountered in the endodontics clinic duringthe Covid-19 epidemic process. For this study, articles on dentistry related to Covid-19 in PubMed and Google Scholar databases were searched. Clinicians should know the infection transmission routes and prevention methods well. In this duration, it is substantial to distinguish which case is urgent and to complete the necessary treatment in a short time. This paper presents useful suggestions for dental emergency practice.

Odontogenic myxoma (OM) are benign, locally aggressive tumours that are rarely found in the paediatric maxillofacial region. OMs derive from mesenchymal odontogenic tissue. We describe the management of a 3-year-old girl who presented with a large right-sided mandibular lesion. Her treatment included conservative excision, curettage and peripheral ostectomy. A literature review was performed which calls into question the dogmatic practice of resection with 1 to 1.5 cm margins. Treatment approaches to the OM could potentially be altered in the paediatric patient.

Diffuse villous hyperplasia of the choroid plexus (DVHCP) is a very rare cause of hydrocephalus in children. Only 12 cases of DVHCP have been reported in the literature. In this report the authors describe a new case of a patient with DVHCP who was diagnosed prenatally with hydrocephalus. In a comprehensive literature review and discussion, the authors also discuss radiological and histological characteristics of the reported cases, treatment approaches, and surgical modalities that have been used in the treatment of these patients.
