ABSTRACTThe learning process especially for learning English will be more fun, not boring and easy to understand for children if it uses the right learning media which can foster children’s reading and writing abilities. Learning media is a tool that serves to convey learning messages. Media in learning has a function as a tool to clarify the message conveyed by the teacher. The media also functions for individual learning where the position of the media fully serves the learning needs of students. Multimedia is one source of teaching or alternative media in learning English that can integrate and link elements of the human physical environment in the dimensions of space. It predicts one of the interactive multimedia learning that to improve children’s reading and writing abilities is the learning media in a mobile phone application called Hello English Kids: Learn English. Hello English Kids Media: Learn English predicted to improve children’s reading and writing skills because this media teaches English to children in a fun, effective way and can build a strong foundation for their language development so it can attract attention, curiosity, arouse enthusiasm and fun for children.Keywords: reading, writing, multimediaABSTRAKProses pembelajaran khususnya untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris akan lebih menyenangkan, tidak membosankan dan lebih mudah dipahami anak jika menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat yaitu media yang dapat menumbuhkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak. Media pembelajaran adalah sebuah alat yang berfungsi untuk menyampaikan pesan pembelajaran. Media dalam pembelajaran memiliki fungsi sebagai alat bantu untuk memperjelas pesan yang disampaikan guru. Media juga berfungsi untuk pembelajaran individual di mana kedudukan media sepenuhnya melayani kebutuhan belajar siswa. Multimedia adalah salah satu sumber pengajaran atau media alternatif dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang dapat memadukan dan mengaitkan unsur lingkungan fisik manusia dalam dimensi ruang. Salah satu multimedia interaktif pembelajaran yang diprediksikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak adalah media pembelajaran yang terdapat dalam aplikasi telepon seluler bernama Hello English Kids: Learn English. Media Hello English Kids: Learn English di prediksikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak karena media ini mengajarkan Bahasa Inggris kepada anak dengan cara yang menyenangkan, efektif dan dapat membangun fondasi kuat untuk pengembangan bahasa mereka sehingga dapat menarik perhatian, rasa keingintahuan, membangkitkan semangat serta menyenangkan bagi anak.Kata kunci: membaca, menulis, multimedia

Pendidikan memerlukan proses yang terus menerus sehingga guru perlu meningkatkan profesionalismenya. Guru profesional tidak hanya menguasai bidang ilmu, bahan ajar, dan metode yang tepat, tetapi mampu mengembangkan empat komponen kompetensi guru yaitu pedagogik, kepribadian, profesional, dan sosial. Guru yang tidak mempunyai sikap profesional dapat menyebabkan siswa sulit berkembang dengan baik. Pembuatan media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatisipasi media yang susah didapat Guru dapat membuat sendiri media pembelajaran sehingga tidak memerlukan biaya yang mahal. Pembelajaran menjadi relevan dengan media yang dikonsep sendiri oleh guru. ada cara yang mudah untuk guru untuk membuat media pembelajaran sendiri yaitu dengan slide master. Menu slide master terdapat dalam program Microsoft Power Point yang sering dipakai oleh guru. Slide Master mempunyai keunggulan yang interaktif sehingga dapat melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran. peneliti berinovasi untuk melakukan pelatihan pembuatan CD PITBUS (Pembelajaran Interaktif Buatan Sendiri) perlu digalakkan agar guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia sendiri. Program pelatihan pembuatan CD PITBUS ini akan dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Turi.  Education requires a continuous process so that teachers need to improve their professionalism. Professional teachers not only possess the right field of knowledge, teaching materials, and methods, but can develop the four components of the competency of the teacher: pedagogic, personality, professional, and social. Teachers who have no professional attitude can cause students to be difficult to develop well. Learning media making is one of the solutions to the media that can be difficult to obtain Guru can create their own learning media so that it does not require expensive costs. Learning becomes relevant to the media that the teacher has conceptualized. There is an easy way for teachers to create their own learning media that is with master slides. The master slide Menu is included in the Microsoft Power Point program, which is often used by teachers. Master slides have an interactive advantage that can involve students in learning. Researchers are innovating to conduct a CD making training in PITBUS (interactive learning) needs to be encouraged so that teachers can make their own multimediabased learning media. The PITBUS CD making Program will be held at SMP N 1 Turi.

Researchers aim to develop Interactive Magic Card as a medium that is suited to learning needs. There are 2 objectives in this study; 1) developing Interactive Magic Card as a learning medium; 2) find out the feasibility of the media. This research uses the Research and Development method which was adapted from Borg and Gall. This English learning media is an HTML5-based Flash Card application that was developed to help students in mastering vocabulary and improve their Speaking and Writing skills.The results of this study indicate that; 1) the results of the material expert validation are 89; 2) the results of media expert validation are 84; 3) main field test results are 91. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that Interactive Magic Cardis suitable for use as a medium for learning English

Stories are told in all cultures. And this has been so from the first time humans sought contact with each other. Stories have been a means of creating solidarity and a common context. There are a great variety of genres and forms of expression: myths, fairy tales, and fables. Common to all cultures also is the move from the oral to the written narrative and then later to the modern visual narrative in films, TV, video, and the computer.

This research is motivated by the fact that learning still uses conventional learning. The media used is still using books or student worksheets. This causes teaching and learning activities for children to become bored and less varied. This is due to the lack of teacher media to convey learning to students. So that teachers prefer to use media that is easy and sober so that the development of children's reading skills has not yet developed optimally The aim of this research is to find out the effect of interactive multimedia on children's reading ability. The method used in this research is quantitative Pre Experimental with the design of "the one group pretest posttest". The sample in this study were 18 children in group A Kindergarten consisting of 10 male students and 8 female students. The data collection technique used is the method of observation and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the t test results Sig (0,000) <0.05 means there is an influence. This means that interactive multimedia affects the reading of group A children.
