INCONEL ALLOY 600
Abstract INCONEL alloy 600 (formerly INCONEL, Alloy Digest Ni-9, March 1954) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with good resistance to corrosion and heat. It is a solid-solution alloy that can be hardened only by cold working and it has excellent mechanical properties with a desirable combination of high strength and good workability. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on low and high temperature performance, and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-176. Producer or source: Huntington Alloy Products Division, An INCO Company.
