Abstract CRUCIBLE XM 19 Stainless is a nitrogen-strengthened, low-carbon austenitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance in combination with high strength. The alloy has better corrosion resistance than AISI Type 316 with approximately twice the yield strength.
