This article discusses the issues of digitalization and using of information technologies, and in particular databases at all stages of the technological process of mining. In addition, the paper proposes options for protection against some of the possible attacks and information protection using countermeasures and control methods that exist at the present time. Database security is an important approach for planning and decision-making clear the security requirements of the database. Database security, especially for an industry such as mining, is a very important issue for companies. With increasing complexity of the databases, we may encounter with more complex problems related to information security.

GICs in technological conductor networks are a ground manifestation of space weather. During severe geomagnetic storms, if GICs flow in power systems, real and reactive power flow will swing abnormally, also transformer saturation, over-voltage fluctuation, frequency shift, unnecessary relay trippings and increased harmonic contents, even damage of transformer or a collapse of the whole system may occur. So GIC controlling in power systems is so significant that it can help power systems stand through strong geomagnetic disturbances, as well as ensure safe and stable operation of power systems. In this paper, control methods and techniques on GIC in power systems have been summarized in reference of research achievements and control experience on GIC.

Outages and planning primarily account for the removal and addition of new buses, generating power plants, transmission lines, loads, and control devices, respectively. They occur regularly in power systems operation and restoration, and hence a power system is constantly changing its topology. Therefore, there is a need for a software package to emulate these changes. Power System Analysis Toolbox (PSAT) is designed and developed in Matlab environment to simulate contingencies and expansion of power systems. The IEEE 14-bus power system is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed work.

This paper reports a general overview of current research on analysis and control of the power grid with grid scale PV-based power generations as well as of various consequences of grid scale integration of PV generation units into the power systems. Moreover, the history of PV renewable growth, deregulation of power system and issues related to grid-connected PV systems considering its contribution to various responsibilities like frequency control, virtual inertia capabilities and voltage regulation are discussed. Moreover, various outcomes of the high-penetrated grid with PV power plants such as power quality, active and reactive power control, protection, balancing and reliability under various loading conditions are reviewed and discussed.
