<p><em>Pelaksanaan kegiatan wirausaha menjadi elemen penting yang harus mendapat perhatian oleh pengelola pesantren agar dapat menjadi lembaga pendidikan yang mandiri.  Pelaksanaannya juga harus dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah mengapa kewirausahaan perlu dikembangkan di pondok pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan; Bagaimana praktik manajemen kewirausahaan dalam membangun kemandirian di pondok pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School. Penelitian ini bertujuan Mendeskripsikan proses manajemen kewirausahaan sebagai upaya membangun kemandirian di pondok pesantren Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi.  Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil: (1) sejak awal berdiri pada tahun 2008, pondok pesantren MBS telah menjadikan  program kewirausahaan sebagai bagian dari master plan pengembangan lembaga. (2) Dalam pengelolaan kegiatan wirausaha diterapkan fungsi manajemen yaitu dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, Pelaksanaan  dan pengawasan. (3) Fungsi perencanaan diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan rapat kerja yang dilaksanakan  setiap awal tahun ajaran. (4) Fungsi Pengorganisasian diimplementasikan melalui perpindahan wewenang dari direktur pesantren ke manajer lembaga wakaf center. (5) Fungsi pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan wirausaha di pondok pesantren MBS dijabarkan dalam tiga kegiatan inti yaitu coordinating, delegating, dan commanding. (6) fungsi pengawasan dilakukan secara insidental oleh manajer wkaf center dan secara rutin oleh kepala unit menggunakan rapot penilaian kerja individu. (7) Adanya unit usaha mampu menopang ekonomi dan financial pesantren. Selain itu pesantren juga mampu mandiri karena dapat menyediakan sumber daya yang dibutuhkan melalui uni usaha yang dimiliki.</em></p>

Islamic boarding schools inevitably provide services for the implementation and management processes. It requires adjustments to increasing needs. Each Islamic boarding school has different characteristics, because It is founded by different figures. There are different ways to financial management in Islamic boarding schools. The role of Kiai as a central figure is very decisive in financial management. Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo is one of the Islamic boarding schools that have own financial management system. Three units are technically managing finances in Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo. They are Treasurer, the Supreme Audit and Wealth Agency of Ma'had (BPK2M), and the Budget Team. To ensure the service system in financial management, it is necessary to develop financial management guidelines. The mentoring steps taken included sharing ideas, absorbing information, discussing and conducting joint studies with stakeholders in the Islamic boarding schools. As a result, the draft financial management guidelines were included in the master plan for Islamic boarding schools. The need for guidance on financial management of Islamic boarding schools is in line with the theory of planning, innovation, and several financial regulations established by the State. In management, planning is needed because the spirit is innovation and meeting the demands of change to meet the needs of the organizers and the Islamic boarding schools community itself.

<p>The purpose of this research is to find out the motivations of PAI (Islamic Education Department) students at IAIN Salatiga to choose to attend lecture<em> </em>and<em> nyambi nyantri</em> (attending Islamic boarding school course) and to reveal their implications for adversity quotient. This study implemented a phenomenological approach and data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that, the motivations of PAI students in IAIN Salatiga choose to <em>nyantri nyambi</em> lectures namely to fill their free time outside of lecture hours, to study religion more deeply, to continue their Islamic boarding school study, to consider the Islamic boarding school to be in line with the study program taken, to get a mandate from <em>Kyai</em> (religious authorities preferred by Javanese community) to study while <em>mondok</em> (living in Islamic boarding school), and their parents do not allow them to continue their study to college if they live in homestay. While the implications for the adversity quotient of PAI students of IAIN (State Islamic Institution) Salatiga are to have great aspirations, shown by the desire to graduate as soon as possible with a cum laude GPA, continuing their study to master degree, be able to read and master <em>kitab kuning</em> (the traditional Islamic manuscript); be able to face difficulties, demonstrated by being able to go through difficult times of adaptation, be able to overcome economic difficulties; having great self-confidence which is shown by interpreting difficulties as encouragement in achieving goals.</p>
