This research is based on a strong tendency in pesantren to consolidate institutional organizations, particularly on aspects of leadership and management. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods by reviewing the kiai leadership policy in the development of formal education at SMP IT Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Ummah Muaro Jambi. The results showed that kiai policy in the development of formal education was carried out by adjusting the conditions of boarding schools and considering various ideas / suggestions to be mutually agreed upon. While in formulating its policy, kiai involves all administrators of educational institutions and gives authority to implement policies that have been decided. The implementation of the policy is socialized through meetings with institutions to strengthen the flow of information on the policies to be implemented.

Pesantren is an educational institution that stands traditionally where students live in one place to live with each other and study under the guidance of a teacher who is also known as a Kiai. For its implementation, many things must be managed by a boarding school, starting from student registration, student placement, student learning, and evaluation of student learning at the boarding school. So far, there is no adequate system for all of these administrative needs. The purpose of this study is to build an information system framework for Islamic boarding schools using the TOGAF FRAMEWORK. Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School Pekanbaru City uses the TOGAF-ADM methodology as the standard tool used. The use of TOGAF can bring a consistent enterprise architecture, based on stakeholder requirements, and bring some considerations. . Abstract Pondok Pesantren, is an educational institution that provides formal education to students aged children. There are many Islamic boarding schools scattered in various villages in Ciputri Village. The low design ability of santri and students is very unfortunate even though they are the successors to the next civilization. Besides that, in Ciputri village there is no course institution for graphic design training, so graphic design training is held within 1 day. The purpose of this activity is to increase the creativity of students and students in the world of design. Make students and students independent so that they can make designs such as pamphlets, banners or banners themselves and do not use the services of a printing company. This training is carried out by delivering material and direct practice for students and students. Participants can get to know graphic design and can practice the applications used to create the graphic design.

The COVID-19 pandemic period began to shift and shake the order of the learning process that usually takes place, one example is face-to-face learning turning into online learning. Online features seem to be a substitute for offline or face-to-face learning such as schoology, whatsapp, google classroom, moodle, zoom meeting, and several other applications that support learning (Kahfi & Kasanova, 2020). This shift has also begun to create new challenges for the world of Islamic boarding schools, as we all know that Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that implement a boarding school system. Usually the discipline of the students can be measured through the punctuality of coming to school on time, but now this is an obstacle for the kiai or the asatidz council regarding the learning evaluation process, especially if the students who carry out the learning process with the online system, many from the economy or lower class. those who live in areas that do not support the internet network. Likewise, it is rather difficult to control the students in carrying out activities such as compulsory worship and other circumcision, even though we all know that what is unique about the education system in pesantren is the transfer of knowledge from the kiai or the asatidz council. The focus of this research is the online learning process at the Roudlatul Khuffadz Islamic Boarding School, Sorong Regency. Therefore, the author uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method, namely research that produces descriptive data in the form of words or text and behavior, which can be observed from the subject itself (Kahfi & Kasanova, 2020). This was done to reveal facts about Islamic boarding school learning in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic at the Raudlatul Khuffadz Islamic boarding school, where most Islamic boarding schools were closed or using an online system. Fraenkel and Wallen argue that qualitative research can reveal real events that occur in the field (Kahfi & Kasanova, 2020). The methods that I will use include: Interview or Interview, Observation and Documentation Methods From the results of the study, the authors conclude that: First, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Roudlotul Khuffadz Islamic Boarding School continued to carry out learning as usual (outside the network) while still adhering to health protocols. Second), the obstacles faced by the Roudlotul Khuffadz Islamic Boarding School in learning during the pandemic are first, related to the equipment of medical devices for the prevention of Covid-19. Second, Infaq as one of the financial income of pesantren tends to decrease due to the impact of the guardians who are also affected by Covid-19 from an economic perspective.

This study was to reveal the theological response and application of health protocols in Islamic boarding schools during the COVID19 pandemic. The data were obtained through observations, observations and interviews in three Islamic boarding schools: Ittifaqiyah, Aulia Cendikia and Al Burhan, a Salaf Islamic Boarding School. Aulia Cendikia is affiliated with NU and Al Burhan with Jamaah Tabligh, while Ittifaqiyah is the largest pesantren in the province but is not affiliated with any religious movement. This study revealed that in the application of health protocols in Islamic boarding schools during the pandemic, there were two things. First, Islamic boarding schools applied rules in the form of SOPs for virus prevention strictly. This was performed by Pesantren Aulia Cendikia and Ittifaqiyah. Meanwhile, Al Burhan tent to apply loosely. It was concluded that the level of an Islamic boarding school and the school it adhered could determine the response to health protocols in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
