This study aims to examine financial targets, financial stability, external pressure, personal financial needs, effective monitoring, nature of industry, total accruals, change of directors, and CEO duality in detecting fraudulent financial statements with the audit committee as the moderating variable. The population of this research is 20 state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2014-2018. Sampling using saturated sampling technique and obtained a final sample of 100 units of analysis. Data collection using documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that external pressure and the nature of industry have a significant positive effect on the detection of fraudulent financial statements. The audit committee is able to moderate the influence of financial targets, external pressure, nature of industry, and change of directors on the detection of fraudulent financial statements

This study examines the factors that influence the preparation and presentation of fraudulent financial statements basing on the fraud triangle theory. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influences of financial stability (asset change), external pressure, personal financial need (insider ownership), financial targets, ineffective monitoring (by audit committee), and rationalization (auditor’s opinion) on making fraudulent financial statements. The population in this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 to2015. Sample selection is by purposive sampling. Data used in the analysis was of 147 companies. The data analysis technique for hypothesis testing was by logistic regression analysis. Results of this research indicate that financial stability, external pressure, personal financial need, and rationalization have no significant effect on making fraudulent financial statements. Although the results of this study can not prove the factors that affect fraud in the presentation of financial statements, but companies need to be vigilant to prevent fraud in the presentation of financial statements. Companies must be able to perform early detection of the occurrence of fraudulent financial statements for the survival of the entity.

The research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of Financial Stability on Misstatement of Financial Statements and to determine the ability of Opportunity Fraud to moderate the influence of Financial Stability on Misstatement of Financial Statements. This research was conducted at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which has corporate financial data, especially manufacturing companies. The method of determining the sample using a purposive sampling technique. The number of samples in this study were 308 observational data. The analysis technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that Financial stability had a positive effect on the misstatement of financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2018 and Opportunity Fraud weakened the influence of Financial Stability on the Misstatement of Financial Statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018. <p><em>The Objective of this research is to analyze the factors of financial report fraud with pentagon fraud analysis. This research uses six independent variables which is pressure used financial target and financial stability as proxy, opportunity with proxy  ineffective monitoring, rationalization with change in auditor as proxy, capability with proxy of CEO’s education, and arrogance with proxy frequent number of CEO’s picture, while the dependent variable is fraudulent financial statements proxied by restatement of financial statements. </em><em>This research uses secondary data that is financial report and annual report. The sample of this study is 110 samples from financial statements of financial companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the 2015-2017 period. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The method of analysis in this study uses logistic regression analysis method.</em><em>The results of this research shows that the financial stability variable and ineffective monitoring are significant in detecting fraudulent financial statements. While financial targets variable, auditor’s change variable, CEO’s education variable, and frequent number of CEO’s picture are not significant in detecting fraudulent financial statements.</em></p>

The purpose of this study is to discover the role of independent commissioners and audit committees to improve financial performance both simultaneously and in part. The paper objects used were all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017, using a purposive sampling technique. Data on the company's annual financial statements and annual financial reports are obtained from the official website of the IDX. This paper was added in the study. The data analysis method used in this update is regression analysis in the data panel. This study uses the transition from Good Corporate Gorvernance, an independent board of commissioners and an audit board as an audit measure in this study. The results showed that the simultaneous independent board of commissioners had a significant effect on financial performance (ROA, ROE). The audit committee has a negative and not significant effect on financial performance (ROA, ROE).

The financial statements are structured representation of the financial position shows the financial performance of an entity. On the other hand, the Financial Services Authority in Indonesia gave the sanction to capital market players for cheating Financial Statements. This shows that the financial statement fraud cases occurring in Indonesia are part of the failure of an audit conducted by the Public Accounting Firm (KAP). This study aims to examine the influence of fraud triangle in detecting fraudulent financial statements. The object of this study using the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2012-2014 time period. This study uses 123 data samples are taken using purposive criteria. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that razionalization significant effect on the financial statements fraud. Meanwhile, the financial stability, external pressure, financial targets, the nature of the industry, ineffective monitoring did not significantly affect the financial statements fraud. This study contributes to the regulators to adopt measures to improve the quality of audits, especially in detecting fraud.

In the financial statements there is a possibility of misstatements in the presentation of company’s financial statements relating to errors or fraud made or caused by managers in the company. Misrepresentation in financial statements causes a decrease in the level of trust of users of financial statements and can harm stakeholders. The theories underlying this research include agency theory, fraud diamond, and good corporate governance. The research sample consisted of 46 manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. Sampling is done by purposive sampling method. Hypothesis testing uses analysis of descriptive statistics, pooling test, independent sample t-test and logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial stability, nature of industry, rationalization, and capability have a positive effect on the possibility of fraudulent financial statements. Whereas female on board has a negative effect on the possibility of fraudulent financial statements. But external pressure, personal financial need, effective monitoring and independent board of commissioners are not proven to have effect on the possibility of fraudulent financial statements.

This study aims to determine the effect of public ownership and profitability on the timeliness of financial report submission. Secondary data used in this research is the company's audited annual financial statements. The population in this study is mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, thereby obtained 180 samples from 36 companies. The analysis technique used in this research is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the partial public ownership does not affect the timeliness of financial report submission, while profitability positive and significant impact on the timeliness of financial report submission. Public ownership and profitability simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the timeliness of financial report submission. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of leverage, liquidity, company size, independent board of commissioners and audit committee on financial perfomance. The data used in this study are secondary data ini the form of financial statements. The population in this study is LQ-45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. Samples were selected from the purposive sampling method and 27 samples were obtained based on several criteria. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis shows that leverage, liquidity, independent commissioner influence of the financial perfomance.While the company size and audit committee has no effect on the financial perfomance. Simultaneously leverage, liquidity,company size, independent commissioner and audit committee were able to explain the dependent variable that is the financial perfomance by 54.3% and the rest was influenced by other variables. This research can be used by companies to increase the financial perfomance of the company.

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of fraud triangle in detecting fraudulent financial statements. The variabbles of fraud triangle are pressure, opportunity, and rasionalization then divided into six independent sub-variables. Namely financial stabilty which is proxied by asset change ratio (achange), personal financial need which is proxied by oship, external pressure which is proxied by the ratio of changes in debt (lev), financial targets that are proxied by ROA (ROA), the nature of industry that is proxied by inventory (inventory), effective monitoring that is proxied by the proportion of independent commissioners (ind), and rasionalization proxied by auditor change (auchange). The population of this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2017. the total sample of the study was 32 companies. Data analysis method uses logistic regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that financial stability variables, personal financial need, external pressure, nature of industry, effective monitoring, and rationalization have no effect on fraudulent financial statements. the results of this study can prove that financial targets have an effect on fraudulent financial statements. Further researchers can develop this research by adding sub-variables or using other proxies.

Financial statements manipulation was a fraud form which is generally difficult to detect. The study was intended to analyze fraud pentagon elements in detecting fraudulent financial statements. The research population was all financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the research sample and data analysis techniques used multiple regression. Based on the test results, it shows the financial set has a positive positive effect on fraudulent financial statements and the number of audit committee meetings that reflect effectiveness has a negative effect on fraudulent financial statements. The study results also contribute to the fraud pentagon theory and provide evidence that elements on fraud pentagon model can be used to detect fraudulent financial statements.
