The use of protein with low-cost, high quality, low methane, and ammonia emissions are a prerequisite as a protein source in ruminant. However, the European Commission has prohibited protein derived from fish meals for ruminant feeds. So encouraging efforts to explore the other protein sources to be most important. Most of the high protein legumes grow in tropical areas such as Indonesia and have the potential as an alternative protein source in ruminant feed, including Indigofera zollingeriana (25-27% protein content). But many browse legumes with high protein are a heterogeneous group of plants, with variable secondary metabolic content and rumen degradable protein. The aim of this experiment was to evaluate the characteristics fermentation of IZ as green protein supplement on in vitro methane, ammonia and microbial protein production. The experiment was a completely randomized design with four different level supplementation of Indigofera zollengeriana (IZ) as green protein concentrate and five replications. The treatment diets were R0; basal diet (60% forage + 40% concentrate) + 0% IZ, R1; R0 + 10% IZ, R2; R0 + 20% IZ, and R3; R0 + 30% IZ. The experiment result showed that supplemenatation of IZ was significant effects (P<0.05) to increase total gas, ammonia (N-NH3), total volatile fatty acid (TVFA), and metabolizable energy (ME) and significant effect (P<0.05) to decrease of methane and methane percentage. Supplementation IZ at a level of 10% was significantly higher for dry matter digestibility (DMD), organic matter digestibility (OMD), and microbial protein production (PPM) than diets treatment of R0, R2, and R3. The experiment concluded that Supplementation of I. zollingeriana (IZ) was able to reduce the methane gas production. Protein characteristics of IZ have easily degradable by rumen microbe showed the ammonia production was linearly increasing by 45.66% for each increasing level of IZ supplementation. Microbial protein production was higher (184.33 mg/ml) obtained of IZ supplementation up to 10% (R1). The experiment suggests doing protected protein of IZ when be used as a protein source in ruminant diets.

The purpose of this research is to describe women's gender insight from a family perspective through the characterization structure in Fira Basuki's novel Atap. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, solving problems in a study by describing or interpreting objects in the form of social phenomena or events that are revealed through expressions. Through this research, researchers can describe data from the object of research related to aspects of women's gender insight from a family perspective through the characterization structure in Fira Basuki's novel Atap. These aspects consist of aspects of socio-cultural change through the family and aspects of violence in the family from a feminist point of view. The source of data in this reseaech is the novel Atap by Fira Basuki. The data in this research were obtained from words, sentences, or expressions contained in the novel which refer to aspects of socio-cultural change through the family and aspects of family violence from a feminist point of view. The results showed that in socio-cultural changes through the family, it was found that there was still a gender bias towards justice that was obtained by women. Gender bias is also found in the female characters Kunti, Jane and Mak Umah as a result of violence in the family from a feminist point of view. Based on the problems that arise in socio-cultural relations through the family, it should be addressed wisely and directed in the form of protection. For example, legal protection is made and the public understands the existing forms of legal protection.

This paper discusses the Jambi kingdom and its existence as a country located on the international trade route. This is interesting to study because the period of its existence coincided with the golden age of trade between nations which involved emporium countries that were located along the trade route from China in the east to the Mediterranean in the western tip. This period is said by historians to be the prosperous era of the Asian emporium. By using a multi-dimensional approach and supported by the application of historical methods that refer to scientific historical research procedures, the results of this study are expected to provide an explanation of the main problems posed and thus contribute to the development of science, especially about Jambi's local history. In addition, it can be used as material for consideration by related institutions in order to preserve historical and cultural values and for regional development. The results of the study show that the Jambi region has been involved in international trade networks since the beginning of the century AD, but its nature has experienced ups and downs. From the 3rd century to the 7th century Jambi's involvement was evident in the existence of the Koying, Tupo, Kantoli and Malay kingdoms. From the 7th century to the 11th century that role declined because the Malay kingdom was controlled by Srivijaya, which was centered in Palembang. When Srivijaya weakened in the 11th century, Malays broke away and re-emerged as an important trading port in the archipelago. Entering the 12th century, this role has declined again due to competition from other trading ports located on the east coast of North Sumatra, as well as direct trade to the interior. The Jambi kingdom was re-established at the end of the 15th century, reaching its peak in the 17th century when pepper became an important commodity in international trade. As a large pepper producing country, Jambi emerged as an important trading port which was visited by both foreign and Nusantara traders. But since the end of the 17th century, Jambi has been in decline. The cause was Jambi's defeat of Johor in repeated wars between 1667 and 1673. Other reasons were the internal conflict of the kingdom, and the Dutch intervention in the affairs of the royal government, as well as the falling price of pepper on the international market. The decline in the price of pepper led to a decrease in the income of the kingdom and the community, thus causing the reluctance of traders to come to Jambi Port. In the 19th century the port of Jambi was no longer visited by maritime merchants of the archipelago.
