The Internet of Things (IoT) is getting great attention from researchers nowadays, as it becomes an important technology that promises intelligent human life, with between objects, machines and everything together with people. IoT represents a system consisting of real-world things, and sensors attached to or combined with these things, connected to the internet through cable and wireless network structures. With IoT, the world will be smart in every aspect because IoT will provide smart city facilities, smart health care, smart homes and buildings, in addition to many important applications such as smart energy, grid, transportation, waste management and monitoring. One microcontroller device that supports the use of IoT is the Esp8266 NodeMCU integrated with the Blynk application. So that with the design of a system to control/monitor the condition or moisture of the soil in arugula plants, the cultivation or production can be more maximal and efficient.

Wellbeing is fundament requirement. What's more, it is human appropriate to get quality health care. These days, India is confronting numerous medical problems in light of fewer assets. This survey article displays the idea of solving health issues by utilizing a recent innovation, the Internet of Things (IOT). The Internet of Things with their developing interdisciplinary applications has changed our lives. Smart health care being one such IoT application interfaces brilliant gadgets, machines, patients, specialists, and sensors to the web. At long last, the difficulties and prospects of the improvement of IoT-based medicinal service frameworks are talked about in detail. This review additionally summarizes the security and protection worries of IoT, administrations and application of IoT and smart healthcare services that have changed the customary medicinal services framework by making healthcare administration more proficient through their applications.

The internet of things is everywhere. It is an emerging and wide scope of study. Every day there is a new addition to this technology. It is simply defined as a network over which a collection of things communicate with each other using internet as a medium of communication. It is also sharing information with each other for the ease, welfare, and convenience of human beings. It makes human life easier. About one trillion devices are expected to connect with this technology in the upcoming future (most probably in 2025). Each and every year its popularity increases. It makes smart health; provides more safety, comfort, and convenience; and also increases wisdom. IoT is one of the platforms of today's smart city and smart energy management systems. This chapter explores IoT technologies and applications.

Population growth and urbanization have led to an increase in the rate of waste production, the lack of timely and proper management of which will have adverse effects on human life and the environment. Since most of the waste management costs are spent on waste collection and transportation, it is necessary to find solutions to control the huge costs of this sector. On the other hand, today, intelligent technologies are used globally as solutions to meet challenges in various fields such as agriculture to improve agro-industrial production, transportation, and waste management, which creates a concept called smart cities. One of the categories that has changed the concept of cities and made them have easier and smarter answers to various events and needs is the "Internet of Things", in which many cases and infrastructures with new hardware technologies and Software are integrated. Waste collection is no exception to this rule and efforts have been made to make it smarter. In this research, some of the latest innovations presented globally in order to make trash smarter have been examined.

Security is always at the forefront of developing technologies. One can seldom go a week without hearing of a new data breach or hacking attempt from various groups around the world, often taking advantage of a simple flaw in a system’s architecture. The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of these developing technologies which may be at risk of such attacks. IoT devices are becoming more and more prevalent in everyday life. From keeping track of an individual’s health, to suggesting meals from items available in an individual’s fridge, these technologies are taking a much larger role in the personal lives of their users. With this in mind, how is security being considered in the development of these technologies? Are these devices that monitor individual’s personal lives just additional vectors for potential data theft? Throughout this survey, various approaches to the development of security systems concerning IoT devices in the home will be discussed, compared, and contrasted in the hope of providing an ideal solution to the problems this technology may produce.

The Internet of things (IoT) helps our everyday lives such as by monitoring objects and tracking behaviors in various settings, but studies on enhancing the bathroom experience are rare. This article describes full details about development and implementation of a smart health-monitoring bidet based on our study published previously in the conference. A smart bidet system is designed to monitor the users’ health through several contact-type sensors, such as pressure, oxygen, and thermometer. The system is equipped with a built-in artificial intelligence software platform and is designed to detect anal and spinal diseases. The attached sensors normally operate under waterproof conditions: we tested their performances under X6 international protection marking conditions. These devices were designed to operate properly even in extremely waterproof conditions. The temperature, pressure, and oxygen sensors of the bidet system had error rates of about 4.1, 0.6, and 1.1 percent, respectively.

Green house is generally a building of small or large structures. The structure of the green house is made of walls and the translucent roof, with the capability of maintaining the planned climatic condition. It ensures the growth of plants that requires a specified level of soil moisture, sunlight, humidity and temperature. The green house systems available are human monitored systems that entail the continuous human visit causing distress to the worker and also decrease in the yield if the temperature and the humidity are not properly and regularly maintained. This paves way for the concept of the green house automation. The green house automation formed by the incorporation of the Internet of things and the embedded system addresses the problem faced in the green house and provides with the automated controlling and monitoring of the green house environment replacing the undeviating administration of the farmers. This paper also proposes the automation using internet of things in green house environment by using the Netduino 3 and employing the sensors for the sensing the moisture, temperature, sunlight and humidity, to enhance the production rate and minimize the discomfort caused to the farmers.
