The genre nature of the novel “Green House” by the Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa is analyzed in the article. Special attention is paid to three approaches to the definition of the genre: “Green House” as a total novel, as a chivalric novel and as an Indianist novel. Definitions of each genre under consideration are given. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the prevailing approaches to defining the genre of the “Green House” in contemporary Latin American studies is analyzed in the paper. In the course of the work seven stable characteristics of the total novel are distinguished: a radically realistic author’s intention, a clear structural organization of the text, compositional and semantic unity, the consciousness of the infinity of language, the comprehensiveness of the novel, nonlinearity of narration, and the use of dialogue as a structure-forming device. The question of the presence in the novel “Green House” of signs of a chivalric romance is considered. The results of a comparative analysis of the “Green House” and the Catalan novel “Tyrant White” are presented. A comparison of the structure of the “Green House” and the generalized structure of the Indianist novel is given, the key features of this genre are analyzed. It is concluded that in the case of the “Green House” it is impossible to come to genre definiteness. The authors dwell on the fact that “Green House” is a work of fiction that combines elements of different genres, without any other restrictions in interpretations, except for those directly rejected by the text.


The transportation sector holds a big share of the emission to the atmosphere. The emission of Green House Gas (GHG) leads to the thinning of the ozone layer. This situation leads to global warming. An international summit in Kyoto 1997 decided to stabilize the Green House Gas (GHG) emission. Therefore, many types of research have been conducted to reduce emissions. Improving engine performance is another method to reduce the amount of gasoline usage. One of the methods is to reduce emissions is by using alternative fuels. hydrogen, alcohol, and biofuel are among the examples. Among the alternatives, alcohol is a very popular alternative used in an internal combustion engine. This paper aims at reviewing the effect of alcohol on the performance and emission of the use of alcohol inside the spark-ignition engine. This review has confirmed that alcohol serves as good alternative fuel, especially if it is mixed at a good ratio with gasoline. With a good blend of alcohol-gasoline, emission can be reduced significantly

Budikdamber adalah antisipasi untuk lahan pekarangan yang sempit dalam budidaya pertanian dengan tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui respon sistem budikdamber dan perlakuan terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan bulan juli 2021 di Green House Ale’to kantor Dinas Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Perkebunan  Kabupaten Banggai Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, dengan metode percobaan faktorial dalam rancangan acak kelompok (RAK). Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: A1 = Akuaponik menggunakan ikan lele 10 ekor; A2 = Akuaponik menggunakan ikan lele 20 ekor; A3 = Akuaponik menggunakan ikan lele 30 ekor; A4 = Akuaponik menggunakan ikan lele 40. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali sehingga terdapat dua belas unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian bahwa respon sistem akuaponik buudikdamber terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy pada tinggi tanaman berpengaruh nyata pada umur 1 MST dan 3 MST, berpengaruh sangat nyata pada umur 2 MST. Jumlah daun berpengaruh nyata pada umur 4 MST serta hasil tanaman berpengaruh sangat nyata pada perlakuan A4 (40 ekor ikan). Perlakuan yang terbaik tedapat pada A4 (40 ekor ikan) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman pakcoy.

Anggrek dikenal sebagai tumbuhan eksotik memiliki daya guna dan pesona nusantara yang banyak diminati oleh penggemar tanaman hias. Kemolekan dan daya tahan Bunganya menjadi pemicu sehingga anggrek ini sering di buru dan diperdagangakan baik lokal, nasional maupun internasional. Upaya pelestarian jenis anggrek alam yang memiliki nilai ekologis dan ekonomis perlu segera mungkin diinisiasi dalam rangka perlindungan jenis tumbuhan endemic dan tergolong langka. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan pengenalan jenis dan budidaya anggrek kepada masyarakat yang memiliki sumberdaya hayati tersebut dan menggunakannya sebagai sumber income untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu minggu di Kampung Kwau, Distrik Warmare, Kabupaten Manokwari. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan dengan pembekalan materi dan praktek langsung di lapangan. Tiga kelompok tani anggrek tercatat sebagai peserta pelatihan yang menerima bantuan fasilitas green house dan tanaman anggrek dari Dinas Pertanian, Peternakan dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Manokwari. Praktek pengenalan jenis dan pernyerbukan tanaman dilakukan langsung pada tanaman anggrek yang berbunga di dalam green house dan dipekarangan rumah masyarakat. Partisipasi aktif diperlihatkan bukan hanya oleh peserta dalam kelompok tetapi di ikuti oleh seluruh masyarakat kampung Kwau.

Agriculture must reduce green-house gas emission and pollution, produce safer and healthier food, closer to home, reducing waste whilst delivering more diverse diets to a growing world population. Soils could enable this transformation, but unfortunately, they have a hugely complex and opaque structure and studies of its myriad of mechanisms are difficult. Here, the fabrication of smart soils for the screening of below-ground bio-processes is demonstrated. Particles were generated from fluoropolymer waste with functionalisation converting them into sensors able to report on key chemical dynamics. Tailored functionalization was obtained by radical terpolymerisation to improve growth conditions and sensing capabilities. The study demonstrates the potential for the development of accelerated genetic or agrochemical screens and could pave the way for controlled indoor soil bio-production systems.

Abstract Field-based experiment was conducted during 2020 – 202’ in green house to evaluate the response of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.)in Al-Rifai District-DhiQar Governorate. The experiment included two factors: First one was NPK (3.6.15) nano fertilizer from Agrisenses company (N1=Zero and N2= 1.25) ml. L−1 after 30,60 and 90 days of planting, the second factor was fertilizer recommendation treatments (T1=Zero, T2= 50% and T3=100% fertilizer recommendation). The experiment was carried out using the randomized complete block design (RCBD)with three replications, The averages of all study indicators ware compared according to L.S.D test at a probability level of 0.05. The results showed the following : N2 was significant and superior compare to other treatments in plant height (65.11cm), No..leaves (82.8 leaf)leaves area (133.84dcm2), No. branches (8.11 branch)and early yield (1180g), as well as T3treatment was significant and superior compare to other treatments in plant height (75.67cm), No. leaves (92.7 leaf). Results also indicated that the interaction of N2T2 had significant increase in number of branches and early yield reached (10.33branches, 1235g) respectively.
