The fractional integrals of Bessel-type Fractional Integrals from left-sided and right-sided integrals of fractional order is established on finite and infinite interval of the real-line, half axis and real axis. The Bessel-type fractional derivatives are also established. The properties of Fractional derivatives and integrals are studied. The fractional derivatives of Bessel-type of fractional order on finite of the real-line are studied by graphical representation. Results are direct output of the computer algebra system coded from MATLAB R2011b.

An inverse coefficient problem is considered for time-fractional anomalous diffusion equations with the Riemann-Liouville and Caputo fractional derivatives. A numerical algorithm is proposed for identification of anomalous diffusivity which is considered as a function of concentration. The algorithm is based on transformation of inverse coefficient problem to extremum problem for the residual functional. The steepest descent method is used for numerical solving of this extremum problem. Necessary expressions for calculating gradient of residual functional are presented. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is illustrated by several test examples.

There has been considerable recent interest in certain integral transform operators with non-singular kernels and their ability to be considered as fractional derivatives. Two such operators are the Caputo–Fabrizio operator and the Atangana–Baleanu operator. Here we present solutions to simple initial value problems involving these two operators and show that, apart from some special cases, the solutions have an intrinsic discontinuity at the origin. The intrinsic nature of the discontinuity in the solution raises concerns about using such operators in modelling. Solutions to initial value problems involving the traditional Caputo operator, which has a singularity inits kernel, do not have these intrinsic discontinuities.

This paper is devoted to investigating the relation between Hadamard-type fractional derivatives and finite part integrals in Hadamard sense; that is to say, the Hadamard-type fractional derivative of a given function can be expressed by the finite part integral of a strongly singular integral, which actually does not exist. Besides, our results also cover some fundamental properties on absolutely continuous functions, and the logarithmic series expansion formulas at the right end point of interval for functions in certain absolutely continuous spaces.
