The increasingly competitive industrial competition makes companies from all sectors around the world change the system to be more efficient and effective. One of the efforts to improve the company is by implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Lately, many large companies are implementing Auto-ID (automatic identification) technology to solve existing problems. The types of Auto-ID technology that are often used are barcode, RFID and QR code technology. PT AKG is a manufacturing company that produces and markets plastic finished materials to serve the needs of other companies has not yet implemented WMS, this causes human error due to the process still manual. This research proposed to find the best warehouse management system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for PT. AKG. Alternative systems in this study are barcode, RFID, and QR code with the criteria used are cost, fuctionality, performance, and sustainability. Based on the results, the system chosen is the QR code with a score of 0.578084. QR codes can make it easier for operators and PPIC department staff to take notes and minimize recording errors. Recording that originally used Microsoft Excel and paper as a tool is no longer needed because operators only need to scan using a smartphone that is connected to the company's warehouse management system.

Abstract This article describes RFID technology in conjunction with warehouse management systems. Article also deals with automatic identification and data capture technologies and each processes, which are used in warehouse management system. It describes processes from entering goods into production to identification of goods and also palletizing, storing, bin transferring and removing goods from warehouse. Article focuses on utilizing AMP middleware in WMS processes in Nowadays, the identification of goods in most warehouses is carried through barcodes. In this article we want to specify, how can be processes described above identified through RFID technology. All results are verified by measurement in our AIDC laboratory, which is located at the University of Žilina, and also in Laboratory of Automatic Identification Goods and Services located in GS1 Slovakia. The results of our research bring the new point of view and indicate the ways using of RFID technology in warehouse management system.

PT. XYZ is a logistics service company engaged in the shipping service business of sea / air ships (EMKL / EMKU) and warehousing / warehousing. In the operational field of Full Container Load (FCL) at PT XYZ, there are problems, namely Human Error (Human Error) inputting data into the Container Handover Letter (SP2) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) documents. The purpose of this study was to determine the causative factors and to find out the right recommendations for improvement in the event of data input errors in the WMS system and data input errors in the manufacture of SP2. Data collection techniques, namely by observation and interviews. The analysis technique used fishbone diagrams and 5W + 1H analysis. Factors that cause Human Error are lack of training or trainning, the number of other tasks outside the job description, the absence of work shifts, the atmosphere is too busy by EMKL who takes care of documents, and the absence of an RFID Reader. To minimize the occurrence of Human Errors is to hold training and provide motivation so that employees can take part in training in operating the WMS system, socializing and providing additional benefits or money to employees, recruiting new employees at least divided into 2 team work shifts for the WMS operation section, adding service into two parts, will reduce EMKL queues and speed up document input to WMS, conduct socialization to use RFID.

Warehouse management system (WMS) direct and optimize stock based on real-time information about the status of utilization. The primary purpose of a WMS is to control the movement and storage of materials within a warehouse. With the widespread use of Internet and the growing complexity on corporate information, distributed architecture has become the first option on building enterprise applications. This paper introduces the CSLA.NET framework, and using .NET platform CSLA.NET distributed under the framework, and designing a set of distributed Warehouse Management System solutions.
