The zone refining method is a physical method for effectively purifying metals. Increasing yield and reducing impurity content have always been the focus of its research. This article systematically summarizes the relevant research on the production of high-purity metals by zone refining, including mechanisms, parameter optimization, zone refining types, analysis methods, limitations, and future development directions, and it provides relevant theoretical foundations for the production of high-purity metals as well.

This article intents to offer a panoramic view of the field of Iberian Studies, a fairly young academic field devoted to the study of Iberian literatures and cultures, which has gained some level of recognition and visibility in recent years. I will present its multiple genealogy, its different origins and theoretical foundations in diverse geographical and academic spaces; its current state, with a quantitative and qualitative analysis of its publications and of its level of institutionalization, and  some proposals for its future development, based on the most recent debates and criticisms about this discipline. I will try to show that, without any intention of becoming homogenic or hegemonic, Iberian Studies have promoted new ways of studying Iberian cultures superseding linguistic, political or academic barriers.

Surface treated copper foil and its preparation is very important and widely used. The science research and enterprise competition always focus on the surface treated methods in the copper foil field. This paper summarized the typical surface treated processes of copper foil, and emphasized on research progress and problems of copper foil surface treated processes. The brush plating-dealloying treated process of copper foil was proposed based on the problems. The principle and research status of new process was introduced. At last, the future development of surface treated process and application prospect were forecast.

The research status of high purity magnesium oxide preparation is introduced in this paper. First, process for preparing high purity MgO is summarized, the global and domestic production status of high purity magnesia is also described. Finally, the problems and disadvantages of current MgO preparation methods are concluded, also development direction of preparation method basing on brine utilization in the production of MgO is put forward.
